Turns out counter-terrorists likely killed Bin Laden multiple times

Thanks to Blair.

Quote of the Day:

You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.

  1. Egyptian archaeologist criticises pyramid void ‘discovery’ .

When I saw the link, I immediately thought it must be one of the old school archaeologists, and I was right – Zahi Hawass! If Zahi cannot take full credit for any discovery, then he will totally dismiss it as untrue or not relevant.

Thankfully, Egyptology is slowly moving away from the established dogma and being open to new ideas, but it still has a long way to go.

  2. Bin Laden: Good. If there’s anyone who deserved to be cucked by 12 year olds in CS:GO it’s him. I bet Bin Laden also the guy who kept killing you as soon as you spawned in and then camping the area. What a c***!

    😉

  3. The first most obvious conspiracy of the DIA is a very old conspiracy indeed – the conspiracy of bad taste for which the Denver art scene is infamous.

“I don’t care how much the DIA people want to spin and BS about what a touching story of world peace this whole thing is/was… this part of the mural had no redeeming message. Imagine walking through the airport and in your hurry to catch a flight, this is the only artwork you really saw? Welcome to Frickin’ Denver!

We have a huge military figure with a sword in one hand and a huge machine gun in the other (you know what they saw about guys who need big guns…). The tip of his huge sword rams the butt of a dove.

    Subtle imagery Fellini would love.”

    1. No offense Emlong, but Bibliotecapleyades can have some strong tinfoil hat beliefs. I once clicked on an article supposedly about the legend of Sophia. It got way off topic two paragraphs in and became very political (Alex Jones levels). Not saying they are all like that, but whoever wrote the article seemed like he/she was having a bad day. Maybe they have changed since then but I have never been back. It’s not bad to have some tinfoil hat suspicions, just make sure you can’t feel your pulse in your forehead.

  4. Biblioteca posts all sorts of things by all sorts of people. I take the articles as they come discarding most but finding some to be intriguing. The article on the Denver murals (cartoons really) was hilarious. My wife is from Denver where most of her family lives, and I pass through the DIA a few times per year. The murals are both creepy and campy without realizing how campy they are. What they really are to me is embarrassing, and I thought the author caught my own sense of the scene well. If this is the best our archon overlords can do then we have nothing to fear.
