The last Christmas

Quote of the Day:

I watch people who are not driven by creativity any more, and I think how dull it must be to produce the same kind of thing. If you don’t feel you’re reaching something new, then don’t do it.

  1. bees and whatnot
all right, some comments on some of the ideas from the news:

    – The bees. Polling people about questions concerning the greater needs.
I say this will not arrive at more intelligent answers. It will arrive at consensus. The outcome may look intelligent to te participants. The kind of participants that elected Donald Trump.

    – Bringing earth to space. Sure, if the prophet won’t go to the mountain, the mountain must go to the prophet. I never liked cleaning my room, why should astonauts?

    – Greek myths. True, Odysseus didn’t take the direct way home. He got drunk with his buddies, and it took a little longer to get home. Pretty girls in the bars, wine and drugs and things, the tough life of a soldier after the battle.

    – Radio burts from 3 billion light years away. They speculate about different natural causes. How about a factory malfunction? There was this factory where they made radio things, and a few incidents resulted in leakage. But only for short periods of time, and after 3 billion years, it is all fixed now. It actually did malfunction earlier, 0.75 billion years earlier, but nobody was paying attention then at our end.

  2. Shazaam
No. It was called Kazaam and it was with SHAQ! It was made in 1996 and yes I remember watching this terrible movie in summer camp. Shazaam is a DC superhero. People are confusing SHAQ and Sinbad, probably because they were popular in kids films in the 90s.

    1. Cheers!
Happy New Year to everyone at the Grail. Just saw the Patreon option of donating and am will be setting that up today!
Thanks very much, and a Happy New Year to you as well! 🙂

      1. Thanks!
I’m happy that a way was actually found for donations to be made from all over. I was about to buy a couple books from Amazon, but I think Patreon might actually result in more $$ for the site? Have really appreciated the site over the years and want to see it continue.

        1. Yup

Yup, Patreon is definitely the best way to maximise the dollars coming to us – thanks so much, and glad that the Grail has been helpful for you!
          🙂
