Uh oh, somebody better tell Leo

Thanks @MichaelMHughes and @m1k3y.

Quote of the Day:

We have to be cautious, but if we refuse to consider outlandish and wonderful possibilities, we might miss something truly important.

Reality TV: Many of these people, having watched some episodes of Kitchen Nightmares, were clearly depressed before hand. That being said it’s interesting to note that every restaurant on Season 2 of that show closed down. You don’t go on these shows if your life is going alright. It always amazed me that these people can just take off from their jobs and life for months at a time to go live with others on an island. Think about it. What sane person wants to leave their life at home? They deny it to themselves and say it’s a journey of self discovery…BULLSHIT! You just don’t want to pay the bills this month (or can’t in most cases). One of the contestants of the second to last Amazing Race lives near me and I designed the layout for an article about his story. I wouldn’t say his life was sunshine and lollipops.

Cocaine: Greg, The Sun is a tabloid news group that makes up every story they ever wrote about. We have it here in The States too and it usually has a “click-bait” style story on the front like “Oprah had a secret abortion” or something of the like. Its soul purpose is to give people bad publicity.

Ran into a bus: I LOL’d XD. Glad no one got hurt but the Google driver made a student driver error, never trust that a human will make the move you wanted him to. That’s called defensive driving class.

Fido v. Robot: Welsh terriers. They never give up and think they are bigger than you. Some people would find that annoying but I love these little dogs.

True, though the BBC also has coverage about police becoming involved:

  2. Searching for Aliens…
Sound like a great idea! However the reference to the Fermi paradox should not put off anyone; I understand investigators are still discovering ‘first contact’ tribes in the Amazon, so if we have yet to discover all intelligent life on earth, I guess space will take a little longer.
