Kickstarter: Crop Circle Towels

Well this was an idea waiting to happen: crop circle towels!

Crop circles have immortalized their place in history as sometimes unexplained and curious wonders. Since the 17th century, thousands of crop circles have appeared around the world.

Whether the media-hungry farmer or a media-shy extraterrestrial are responsible for these giant works of art, you can own your own mysterious Crop Circle Towel. Unlike the cornfields, the crop circles will not disappear with the season!

And here’s the Kickstarter video promo:

  1. darn it TDG!
What did I say about adding to my Christmas list?! LOL

These are pretty cool though. I want to get a bunch of little plastic people and take pictures of them like they are investigating the circle.

  2. A towel…
“A towel, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value. You can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapors; you can sleep under it beneath the stars which shine so redly on the desert world of Kakrafoon; use it to sail a miniraft down the slow heavy River Moth; wet it for use in hand-to-hand-combat; wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal (such a mind-boggingly stupid animal, it assumes that if you can’t see it, it can’t see you); you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough.”

I think I shall never see, a book lovely as a towel …

Uh, good idea, but lousy execution in this case. What hideous shades of green! With a little work (I mean funding) I think a decent beach towel could be produced. Not sure I want to see crop circles in the bathroom. Might creep me out while I’m doing my business.

Greg, a crop circle towel could make a nice gift for those that contribute to your own Kickstarter. But, the guy will probably want a 100 bucks a piece for them.
