News Briefs 25-02-2014

RIP Harold Ramis (aka Dr. Egon Spengler), writer of Caddyshack, Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day, a man who made me laugh hard and often during my teens. Thank you sir and safe voyaging…

Quote of the Day:

My career happened as a result of a tremendous synergy of all the talented people I’ve worked with, all helping each other, all connecting, and reconnecting in different combinations. So…identify talented people around you and then instead of going into competition with them, or trying to wipe them out, make alliances, make creative friendships that allow you and your friends to grow together

The illustration at the top brought a tear to my eye…RIP Mr. Ramis

Megalodon: Okay I saw this program, and it was boring as hell, but if you couldn’t tell those pictures were photoshopped you are daft! It does not take a degree in design to tell they are shopped, they are so badly done, whoever had to make them must have done it last minute. If you look really closely at it, there are slight hints were the fin touches the water and the quality of the pixels in the original image versus the fin is different. This is actually one of the better ones, the others they had on the show were much worse. I know they say all this in the article, but I’ve been saying it since the show came out to the same people who believe the Mermaids show was truth and latched onto it like a lamprey. The worst was the man who said he wouldn’t let his kid watch Discovery anymore because he felt he and his son got taken advantage of…really? Fine I don’t think the corporation gives a flying f*** 😛
