Daily Grail on Skeptiko

I get quite a few requests for interviews, which I usually turn down – because (a) I’m pretty boring, and (b) I’m pretty boring. However, when Alex Tsakiris of the Skeptiko podcast contacted me about having a chat, I decided to make an exception. Alex’s interviews always evolve into interesting discussions, and he’d doing some excellent work with his own research initiatives into mediumship and other areas of parapsychology. Plenty of topics to sink our proverbial teeth into.

So, if you can bear my Australian drawl, here’s my Skeptiko interview, hosted by Alex Tsakiris. The discussion revolves around ideas at the edge, and the ‘new skepticism’ – it’s around half an hour in length. Feel free to post any thoughts here, or in the Skeptiko section at the Mind-Energy.net forums.

  1. Lost fourth gospel of St. Barnabas?
    Linnie O

Hi Greg, I’ve photocopied and scanned an article from the most recent edition of Cyprus Today (a newspaper in northern Cyprus) about the ancient religious text confiscated from a band of smugglers earlier this year, and alleged to be a lost gospel of St.Barnabas. I emailed it as an attachment to www@dailygrail.com (the only point of contact I could find for you).

I hope you receive it. If not, can you advise me how to send it to you?

    Thanks…

  2. Excellent interview
Excellent interview, I enjoy listening to Alex Tsakiris — he’s the true skeptic, objective and reasonable, not the pseudoskepticism popularised by the Alpha scientists (or so they think).

By the way, we southern Australians don’t sound like that, we have much more refined accents here in Victoria. 😉

LOL, yeah, sort of that ‘Kath and Kim’ refined erudition…
      ;P

      Kind regards,
      Greg

It’s not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me…
It’s all the rabbit SH*T you stumble over on your way down!!!

    1. Crikey, Look at that little Darklore!

I did, just very quickly. Maybe you missed it, just imagine the Crocodile Hunter saying “Darklore” and you’ll probably pick it up…
      😉

      Kind regards,
      Greg
