Spring has sprung. Well, it has down here anyhow…

Quote of the Day:

Our democracy is but a name. We vote? What does that mean? It means that we choose between two bodies of real, though not avowed, autocrats. We choose between Tweedledum and Tweedledee…

  1. Quantum Gravity Experiments
Considering that it’s not a race or a contest, it seems like the quantum gravity experiments should be shared in costs, as well as results, among the space-faring nations. It does seem like there is international cooperation on certain investigations, NASA’s Cassini-ESA’s Huygens comes to mind as well as the recent Mars efforts. NASA works regularly with Canada, Australia, the UK, Japan, and Brazil on some projects, but not others. The ESA has teamed with Russia on occasion. I don’t know who is cooperating with China or India, if anyone.

One wonders how these international bonds are formed. We certainly can’t use the UN to direct traffic due to the corrupt nature of the beast. Perhaps some joint manned mission to Mars in the wings considering the enormous costs involved.

  2. Secret Death Chamber
Damn! Couldn’t this have been mentioned earlier Greg. I’ve already been to closing and signed-off on the plan for my house. Adding a secret death chamber at this point is going to cost big-bucks.

If only I had known. :o(
