Sub Rosa Issue 4

If you haven’t noticed the new Sub Rosa cover graphic over in the left-hand column: we’ve released Sub Rosa Issue 4 today, so get over there and download the new issue. In this issue we have an exclusive interview with a legend of ufology, Dr Jacques Vallee – a real treat, as Dr Vallee doesn’t talk publicly very often anymore (thanks to X_O for his help). Also in the new issue is an insider look at the “Skinwalker Ranch”, bought by billionaire Robert Bigelow as part of a research project for his NIDS team. Margaret Starbird gives us an insight into the relationship between Mary Magdalene and Jesus, and John Higgs shares a great essay on Timothy Leary’s affinity with Aleister Crowley (and our Adam’s illustration for the piece is unbelievable). Beyond that, we have a beautiful showcase of artist Cameron Gray’s work, and the usual columns, news and reviews.

As we’ve mentioned previously, Sub Rosa takes a lot of work – so if you haven’t already, why not make a small ‘voluntary subscription’ donation via our Paypal button (at the SR website) to help ensure our future? Also, we have some very supportive advertisers in the magazine, who have products that would certainly interest TDG readers – so please support them to complement their support of us. Lastly, there’s a very easy way to support us without costing you a cent – pass on the link to your friends, mailing lists you’re on, anybody that you think would enjoy Sub Rosa. If each person does something small, requiring very little effort, the results are huge.

  1. Thanks
Hey, I read it, except for one article, and it was great. Greg’s article about scuba diving reminded me that I have been in a mirrorland for a while and resurfacing is probably a good idea. Thanks again everyone! They keep getting better!

edit: Oh yeah, has anyone considered that maybe cow mutilations are the result of people who spent their money on astral projection books and couldn’t afford steak?

  2. Mary writes back
I noticed the new Sub Rosa cover graphic in the left-hand corner, and was quite surprised to see Mary Magdalene listed after Jacques Vallee. How’d you manage to get an article out of her, Greg?!

    1. Shhh
You do this long enough, you make contacts. My people talked to her people, and it was all sweet. The real difficult one to convince was Crowley.
      😉

      Peace and Respect
      Greg

You monkeys only think you’re running things

      1. contacts, yeah
give us just another 200 years, we will have better pictures of Jesus too. And Muhammad as well but we won’t publish those, on account that M is too shy.

In the meantime I will just work on style, and I must say that Sub Rosa looks really professional.

I like the 2-page feature, it makes is easier to read things. Better than cramping things on the same page, with small fonts.

  3. Butcher Band advert – Tunnel Vision Brilliance
I linked to the band’s website and found the only audio samples were from a different album – but wow, it took me straight back to my hippie daze…

Must order a copy of AURICLE as soon as pay day comes around!

    1. I recently acquired a Palm
I recently acquired a Palm OS powered PDA and was excited to take the new issue with me and read it. It seems that Adobe’s Palm OS converter really made ham out of it. It was really hard to read and many pages just cut off and started pages later. Anyone have any ideas on how to convert it to read properly?
