Hancock’s Supernatural

The good folk at the website of uber-author Graham Hancock have announced his next book, which is titled Supernatural. Due out on October 6th, the description for the book reads:

Less than 50,000 years ago mankind had no art, no religion, no sophisticated symbolism, no innovative thinking. Then, in a dramatic and electrifying change, described by scientists as ‘the greatest riddle in human history’, all the skills and qualities that we value most highly in ourselves appeared already fully formed, as though bestowed on us by hidden powers.

In Supernatural Graham Hancock sets out to investigate this mysterious ‘before-and-after moment’ and to discover the truth about the influences that shaped the modern human mind.

Graham’s quest takes him to the edges of our knowledge about human consciousness – I’ve been lucky enough to get a glimpse of the content and it’s certainly fascinating stuff. Go to GHHQ for the full description, while you can pre-order the book (and get a good look at the cover) at Amazon UK.
