Readers might be interested in an offshoot of Scientific American, called Scientific American Mind. While its articles certainly seem to be heavily laden with the orthodox mind-set, it makes for good reading all the same. The current issue has a free article available on the human penchant for conspiracy theories – there is another article on the ‘dangers of the occult’ (spare me), but to read that you’ll have to purchase the magazine or a digital membership.
