I'm impressed by the quality of the Amazing Randi's cockup regarding Steiner. Not only are the errors huge, they're based on such basic biographical information that I'll be damned if I can work out how Randi mangled them so badly. Less than amazing fact-checking there...

From the 'Nazi-era' comment, I'm guessing the problem was being all-too-eager to slander Steiner's name. At least he had the honesty to fix it in this newsletter (although it sounds like his cockup was called by a fellow skeptic and friend, so perhaps not much choice).
Kind regards,

Read the Mitchell-Hedges website's rebuttal to the five documentary, so easily endorsed by "Wunderkabinett":
http://www.mitchell-hedges.com/2008/07/0...
The article proves the lies, distortions and clear falsification of evidence, including airbrushing people out of images, to make a falsified argument.
I am quite surprised that people in the alternative field can and are still taken in by documentaries, which is nothing more than sad... TV is mythmaking to the extreme and anything that is edited and anything that is said in voiceover is almost by default an utter lie, whoever is the victim of it.
