Korn Circles

Trans-Atlantic plasma vortexes? Military dirigibles housing microwave beam weapons? Alas no - just British underground artists the Circlemakers creating a 'stage' for the American rock band Korn to perform a live gig on:

It's not very often one of the biggest rock groups in the US rings up and asks us if we'd like to fly to their home town - in this case Bakersfield, California - to create a massive crop circle for them to perform a secret gig in... but that's exactly what happened last month, when Korn gave us a call!
Circlemakers John Lundberg, Wil Russell, Rob Irving and Mark Barnes flew to California to create the Korn crop circle. The formation was created in two stages over two days in mature wheat. It measured a whopping 700ft long by 230ft wide. Heat stroke was an ever-present possibility as the temperature soared to 120 degrees.

Sure is a purty circle. I think Korn being "one of the biggest rock groups in the US" is a stretch. maybe 7 years ago.

'One of the biggest' is a relative term...could mean out of a group of 1000 for all we know.
Considering their recent album release got to #2 on the Billboard charts in the US, they could still probably claim a certain amount of bigness I think no matter how you define it.

Hi Greg,
It hit #2 on billboard? Good God, the end is nigh. I am in the US, and can say with all honesty, I haven't heard a new song from them in 5 years, but then the tweens run the world here in the US of A. I'm surprised there are no Miley Cyrus crop circles popping up in South Dakota.

I would've loved to have been there. Korn is shitty now, but I'd bet they played some of their older tunes and that I can rock very hard to.
