So tired. Let me dream up some news for you…

Thanks J.

  1. About That Seed Vault…….
You just gotta know that the incoming meteor shower that destroys the environment will begin by first hitting and destroying the seed vault.

It’s Murphy’s Law. That’s why we need a dozen or so Seed Vaults. Just in case.

  2. darwin’s dog is barking at you
i agree, some people don’t seem to have evolved from apes or prehistoric monkeys. monkeys are too smart to be related to humans. i think the intelligent people evolved from a descent line of ape like creatures, and the rest of the stupids f@%#s ate the fruit of knowledge 😉

  3. Smokescreen
Interesting article on sunscreen. The one bit that is worrisome, aside from the entire head-scratching concept of sun protection causing skin cancer, is the use of nanotech. Ever get the feeling that the word ‘consumer’ is synonymous with ‘guineau pig?’ At the very least, it is troubling that such a controversial, and potentially dangerous, technology is being used in such a frivolous manner — to change the opacity of sunscreen. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.

As for the harmful effects of the chemicals themselves, it is simple logic that a toxic chemical applied to the skin will be absorbed into the bloodstream. That equals ‘bad.’ But you know, I hear cigarettes are good for constipation, and sugar is definitely a food and not a drug/poison, so the fine fellows at the FDA probably know what’s best for us.

“It is premature to draw conclusions from the study at this time.” In other words, returning to my previous question, we are the study. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: The FDA is a terrorist organization.

Do you have to be a member of Twitter to see more than the first photo of the Southern Lights?

If so, the Twits apparently don’t ‘get’ that I don’t like having my arm twisted.

      There is only one photo.
