The Minds of Plants

The latest edition of the Christian Science Monitor has a nice little story titled “New Research Opens a Window on the Mind of Plants. The whole anthropocentric idea of intelligence and consciousness is a paradigm desperately in need of shaking up, and some of this new research into plant ‘intelligence’ is certainly worthy of attention. A good Friday read.

    This guy is obviously not very bright.
    Forget about exactly what is responsible for this phenomena, and realize that whatever is happening its quite strange. The animals in question don’t decompose in normal fashion, but linger in a highly static state of some kind of weird preservation. Also, no known living animal will come near these dead ones. no carrion feeders…..nothing period.
    This boy who touts that he is a master of logic might want to re-think where his quantum packets of information are coming from.
    Its the reliance on pure left brained logic and the denial of obvious intuitive information from the higher self that is mainly responsible for wrecking the world….the myth that we are separate and nothing is connected therefore this planet can be raped without consequence.
    I think Mr. Logic is going to face a reality check in the near future.
