Tinkering with Daily Grail 4.0

Sorry I haven’t had a lot of time lately to discuss any news in-depth. Any free time has basically been going in to working on a redesign of The Daily Grail. Still a bit off, but making progress. I’ll probably be posting a few short updates about things as I go on the Daily Grail Twitter account, if you’re interested in keeping up with developments. You might even end up being a Beta tester…

  2. What conclusion did you come
What conclusion did you come to with incorporating forums greg? I thing I missed the end of the thread on whether it was going to cause to much hassle. It can be a great resource if you have a good bunch of moderators to keep the trolls under control.

Yeah, the moderation thing is the big problem. Still, I’ll probably be looking at a forum for the new site – I’m just holding off though as there’s some work on a new Drupal (which powers TDG) module which allows for an ‘in-house’ forum retaining same username/passwds etc. See how it all works out before I commit to anything.

      Kind regards,
      Greg

if the moderator needs moderating, then the moderator should not be a moderator. Being a moderator, by definition, is being moderate…no? I’m all confused!
