  1. Missing Cosmonauts
    When National Geographic wanted background material on the space program, NASA’s press office sent them to Encyclopedia Astronautica. EA has an article on the “missing”, non-existant and fictional cosmonauts and astronauts at http://www.astronautix.com/astrogrp/phaonaut.htm

    Claims that certain radio signals had been received indicating secret or troubled manned space shots contradicts the lack of any such from the many amateur radio operators that listen in on space flights, and have since Sputnik.
