I was 13 when Top Gun (the original) came out. Back in those days I used to think that wearing Ray Ban ‘aviator’ glasses could make anyone look cool, like Maverick—exhibit (A): Goose.
Four decades later, the brand which was synonymous with fashion coolness has made a deal with the devil, and turned their glasses into creepy surveillance machines; making anyone who wears them as uncool as Mark Zuckerberg.
If you see anyone wearing one of those Meta monstrosities, either run for the hills or shame them out of the room.
