Sunday Funnies: Good-bye ‘Patty’?

Is it time to say good-bye to ‘Patty’ and let her walk out of our lives into the sunset?

Regular readers of The Daily Grail need not be reminded that ‘Patty’ is the colloquial nickname given to the alleged Bigfoot creature captured in the famous ‘Patterson-Gimlin’ film of 1967. One of the strongest pieces of evidence, in support of undiscovered giant apes roaming the Pacific Northwest, according to many cryptozoologists—including our friend Loren Coleman, founder of the International Cryptozoology Museum.

…Until now.

Perhaps…

The most recent news shaking the world of cryptozoology is brought by a new documentary which claims to show incontrovertible evidence that the ‘P-G’ film is indeed a hoax, as the skeptics have insisted upon for almost sixty years.

Greg and I haven’t watched this film yet, because it’s not available online as its creator (Marq Evans) is still looking for a distributor. Given the case, we’re still reserving judgment, because we need to be mindful that we now live in the age of AI, in which convincing fabrications can be easily created.

Regardless, we have been studying the available info at our disposal, such as the testimony of people who have already seen the documentary, which was presented at the SXSW film festival, and we decided to discuss it on our latest ‘Behind the Grail’ video for our Patreons. But given the cultural relevance of this news—this is, after all, one of the sacred pillars in the field of Bigfoot research— we decided to make the video freely available on our YT channel.

So please, watch the video and share your opinion, either here in the comment section on via YouTube.
