To the Stars!
…But first, to the Stock Market!

Thanks to Sean Shameless.

Quote of the Day:

“An invention has to make sense in the world it finishes in, not in the world it started.”

˜Tim O’Reilly

  1. Government Insiders
A bunch of former managers can’t engineer themselves out of a paper bag much less into a UFO craft. If the trillions of tax dollars spent on reverse engineering UFO technology hasn’t worked, then millions of more in donations aren’t going to help. Let’s get real!

    1. The Haunted
I just returned from New York where I caught the cat mummy exhibit at The Brooklyn Museum. Couldn’t help wondering if the upper caste hangup with cats had to do with their paranormal sensitivities which would have impressed the heck out of the priests.

There are many episodes of Animal Planet’s “The Haunted” TV series demonstrating the cat’s sensitivity to spirit presence – often it’s the cats and the dogs who are the “first responders.” As regardful as the ancient Egyptians were of the afterlife they must have been most impressed with the feline “open line” to same.

  2. imiut
I think everyone involved is over thinking this. It’s a dead animal skin. They may be wearing it because they want a connection with that animal like a shaman would, or it may symbolize dominion over nature. Maybe it’s linked to a god, or maybe wearing it was a way to indicate the priest. They don’t seem to question these kind of things as much with other ancient cultures,so why do they hang so much on this? You know what??? FUCK IT!

ALIENS – easier than you think 😉

  3. The psychedelic renaissance is here. Will it last this time?
Once more Tim Leary is the whipping boy for MAPS. You would think that MAPS would grow past this, but no. I was looking forward to reading the article… and they pull out the same, lame trope that it was “Tim’s fault”.

    Argh…

  4. Yellowstone
Yellowstone, and supervolcanos, started my search for alternative answers to consensus science. Here is one of my favorite parts from the movie 2012.

I too would want to be on the mountain top with Charlie when Yellowstone blows. HA!

There was a fun film dramatizing Yellowstone, done by the BBC in 2005. It’s on YouTube.
