#1 – “If there was a cure for cancer, then why do rich people still die from it.”
Compared to the vast money empire of the cancer industry the pleas of a few billionaires to please give them the secret cure would be paltry. Furthermore, having a lot of money does not presuppose that you believe there is such a cure than can be procured in the first place. Most people – monied or not – assume there is no such cure and don;t bother looking for it.
Additionally, there is a steadily growing enthusiasm for CBD oil as a cure and prophylactic for many cancers, so the “secret cure” may be hiding in plain sight and getting less hidden daily, and it is within the financial reach of many.

#2 – “The theory that airplanes spray chemicals in the air for population control or some other crazy reason.”

That’s called front-loading the argument with the weakest ideas about chemtrails. The primary idea is that chemtrails are being sprayed to increase the albedo of the planet in order to stem global warming – an idea that has been discussed in scientific circles since the 1950’s. The secondary idea is that chemtrails are being sprayed to act as a barrier against increased UV penetrating the ozone damaged atmosphere.
The most durable support for the theory comes from simply observing the skies which have been since the early 2,000’s frequently criss-crossed with radically persistent chemtrails being sprayed by KC class military tankers in all white livery. Air samples taken below these operations find a large increase in barium, aluminum, and strontium nano-particulates.

    1. Pleas of millionaires
Well, you’d still think someone of Steve Job’s influence and connections, who would be able to network and know things about the latest developments in industry we plebes can barely dream of, would have been able to know about this hypothetical cure and ask for a few samples for himself. Him recuperating from cancer wouldn’t have raised a lot of suspicions –Microsoft’s co-founder Paul Allen managed to beat his cancer after all.

Ironically, some people blame Job’s favoring of alternative remedies as the reason why he wasted precious time, which rendered the traditional therapies he later used ineffective.

As of #2, I agree they skipped the geo-engineering option and went for the most asinine ‘explanation’ for chemtrails, which is similar of how UFO skeptics are always thinking in terms of the ETH.

Re: “cure for cancer” – Is there really a big community of people who believe there is some general cure for every cancer? I don’t know of one. There is however a large community of people who believe there are some cures for some cancers that work quite well for some people regardless of their financial status and outside of the medical/pharmaceutical complex.

Throwing my tinfoil hat in here because I, an apple user who didn’t like Steve Jobs as a person (for this and many other reasons), must clarify that in his later years he did try more traditional medicine, however it was too late for him as his favoritism towards spiritual cures earlier in life had stunted any progress toward healing. Although, it’s likely he would have died anyway as he had a pretty damn aggressive cancer.

This all being said, I do think the wealthy, who have the ability to afford better insurance and healthcare, can get faster treatments in better facilities. I only say this after loosing my job and health insurance, and after shopping extensively for health insurance soon found the average rate a month for good insurance was more expensive than my weekly pay! Of course rich people can die from cancer! They are as human as the rest of us. But if I and let’s say Taylor Swift (not wishing this on her) both get the same cancer, chances are she will be able to afford the treatment. I sure as hell can’t and would die.

  2. Simplistic nonsense
Well, this is the most simplistic nonsense I’ve seen/heard in a while (and I’m not even a conspiracy buff).

    1. Given the economical and political consequences of a cancer cure, being rich alone won’t get you the “secret treatment”. There’s probably just 1% of us who could afford it to begin with but that’s still theoretical 75 million people worldwide – definitely too many to keep a cure under the proverbial wraps. Also as everybody knows there’s no such thing as THE cancer – it’s a complex and highly diverse disease so it’s not likely there’s ONE cure, and if there is… see above.

    2. The depopulation aspect of chemtrails is probably the craziest idea of them all and has little to do with more plausible reasons like “saving the planet”. If I’d be a conspiracy guy I’d say, rich people can still buy a chemtrail antidote, we just don’t know about it – see above.

    3. How do they know that rich people ignore the pending apocalypse? That’s just a silly assumption (and evidently not even true). Those guys haven’t heard about Alternative 3, have they? (I know that’s a mockumentary, just sayin’). And assuming we could only save 500,000 people or so (see Deep Impact), being rich alone won’t get you a place in the bunker (see above, too).

All in all, the weakest try ever to debunk conspiracy theories; maybe you can’t rip apart in 2 minutes what people have come up with over some 10,000 years. Besides, there are enough conspiracy theories that turned out to be “true” so the waters are perhaps a lot muddier than we can suppose.

And what do we really, really know about “rich people”? Sounds more like the tool of a fool…

    1. Vivos Bunker
I wonder if these guys have ever heard of the Vivos bunker, which was specifically designed for the top 1% of the population –Ironically, it’s in Germany 😉

I confess that I deliberately chose to link this one particular video, because I know it was going to run against the opinion of some of our members. And also to highlight it as an example of the current nerdy/skeptic attitude which favors quick bulletpoints mixed with a spice of patronizing attitude.

I still like their videos, though, even if I see some clear faults in their logic –like in the last one about the Fermi paradox.

If one wants to view it as part of the ‘Culture Wars’ (and sometimes I do. Sometimes I don’t) then this is what we in the alternative communities are up against.

      1. “the ultimate in personal safety”
I wonder if a life lived in those Vivos bunkers would actually be worth living in the long run, or if it’s just on little bit better than VR (if at all)… So much for “rich people” then 😉

But seriously, I think the “guys” who are ultimately in charge have been running very scared lately and the “alternative communities” as you call them might have to up the ante a bit. If the latter could make videos like this (with proper logic, of course), that would be a start!

  3. Hilarity
LMAO!! Okay yuse guys, this was meant as a joke..like stuff you see at the Onion?. Did no one read the comments @ Youtube?

” Kurz Gesagt – In a Nutshell 6 months ago (edited)
Ok, it seems like everyone is taking this one waaaay too seriously. This video is not supposed to be a well researched science video. It was a light-hearted bonus video we did for fun, with a bit of social commentary. Please relax everyone. It is kind of nice to see that we have set a standard for ourselves that makes it hard to make just for fun videos without real substance. But we still would like to do that from time to time because it is kind of relaxing. Maybe we should have seen it coming – “real” videos again next year. <3"

I thought it was funnier an shit!
    I mean come on now...Adolphin? 😀

    1. The rules of irony
If it takes a Youtube statement to be sure it’s a joke, was it really a joke then? Irony, sarcasm and satire work on subtle but intrinsic mechanisms and if the joke fails it’s easy to claim “I’m kidding!” afterwards. If thousands of viewers don’t quite get the joke (or take it “too seriously”), then something must have gone wrong I suppose. Besides, we probably shouldn’t make “just for fun videos” on subjects that are (for good reasons) taken really seriously by more and more people – and even use the same argumentative “logic” the debunkers use. If the theories themselves are actually true is an entirely different question of course, but I think the guys in Munich just missed the mark on this one.

      1. The big top
I totally agree, I think it would depend on how much a person is actually acquainted with the subject matter and there are likely quite a few that have only recently been awakened to the real conspiracies going on, I can understand where some of those folks could still have some doubts and feel threatened by this “over the top” debunking, I was at first, then noticed the “Adolphin” thing and I thought this is just too much! has to be BS even if they were serious about it, so I couldn’t help but LOL, and I know for a fact that many many of the so called theories are factual, like when in history has a steel framed building fallen into it’s own footprint from a fire or even essentially an aluminum can hitting it..and one just from a fire! NONE, Also in my past I have been acquainted with some so called elite types (more money than brain synapses)and the ideas and plans I heard from their mouths were shocking and reprehensible to say the least, and they were relatively low on the power pyramid yet they would do anything to get what they want so I have to believe that the really powerful would do no less (likely more, way more) I shudder at the thought.
This kind of reminds me of the recent revelation that the study supposedly done about Chocolate being real good for you turned out to be a fake, a test to see if anyone would really research the claim instead of just accepting it, it may or may not be good for you, I really don’t know for a fact, but I am a chocoholic so I accepted it without question (my bad) because I wanted to.
I have noticed recently a lot of this type of over the top sarcasm on the webs, so a person has to be careful with what they read and believe. As for why the prevalence of these jokes on the webs, I can only speculate. Still I have to laugh at it, and myself for taking anything so seriously because IMO it’s all just a big dream we create and nothing in life is really all that get out serious in the final cut, life prevails no matter what. “Smoke and Mirrors”

        1. Addendum
In simple terms my guess is that they may have been debunking the debunkers, Like “they really can make this stuff up!” 😀 But then that is just IMOSHO.

          1. Fun and Sarcasm
Since they already use a lot of humor in their videos, perhaps they went a bit too meta with this one 😉

On the other hand, one thing I REALLY dislike about some people in the alternative communities –including their leaders– is that they take themselves far too seriously.

If the first reaction of someone making fun of your favorite topic –like UFOs for example– is not to giggle or shake your head with a smile, and you instead feel the URGE to school the ignoramus joker about why UFOs, chemtrails, the Illuminati, etc, need to be taken seriously, then you’ve lost something very valuable in your personal journey toward ‘the Truth’.

I’ve personally found Humor is a very powerful tool for keeping yourself balanced and centered. The first ones to laugh about chemtrail jokes, psychic phenomena puns and Reptilian gags should be us!

If we show the skeptics that we too can join in the fun of making fun of these subjects, we also deprive them of their favorite weapon against us.

I also agree that it would be awesome if ‘our’ side could make videos as cool-looking as these ones, but portraying things like Dean Radin, Graham Hancock or Rupert Sheldrake’s work from an honest (yet still funny) approach.

I’ve a friend in the animation industry. Maybe I could pitch some ideas to him 🙂

          2. It little matters to me what
It little matters to me what the “tone” of the adversarial looking position might or might not be. I relish any opportunity to remind my victims of how it went down and is going down.

          1. Two photos I took of a spray
Two photos I took of a spray operation commencing just north of my house this morning June 25, 2015. Increasingly, the spray planes are doing truncated trails in order to look less obvious – the horizon to horizon trails attract more attention.
In the second photo you can see the spray planes with their nozzles turned off returning to some point at the the beginning of their tasked aerosol formation to spray another “line.” Looking through high powered binoculars reveals the planes to be KC class Boeing tankers in all white livery.

            http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee378/thedudeabides4ever/Crop.jpg

Apologies for the poor photos. I am shooting with a 4 year old Lumix that has only zoom – no telephoto.

          2. 2 questions:
1.- Cattle mutilation once got the involvement of the government thanks to Senator Floyd Haskell. Has anyone tried to contact their elected representatives about chemtrails?

2.- Have you ever seen personally, or found a photo of a chemtrail on a sky with cumulus or cumulunimbus clouds, instead of the typical ‘whispy’ clouds which seem indicative of the same low-temp, windy conditions for a contrail to ‘stretch’ into a chemtrail?

          3. There are photos all over the
There are photos all over the net of chemtrails in every sort of clouded sky imaginable including cloudless which is what the sky background was when the aerosolers moved in this morning to my neck of the woods. Note also that the photo of the two tankers with nozzles turned off are not leaving any contrail at all – chemtrail or contrail – yet they are very close to a chemtrail formation. The natural conditions of the sky this morning did not even favor normal jet engine exhaust contrails at the altitude that the planes were working, but chemtrail aerosols will form in any sky condition – any temperature or humidity. That is because they are not water vapor – they are very fine powders.

People used to contact their elected reps in droves about chemtrails, but were typically met with boilerplate form letters or silence. The chemtrail op is verboten in government – it has been made clear that it is a question of “national security” and not to be discussed.

There may very well be a good reason for this very expensive project, and there is also the possibility that it is just a pork barrel, under the table project making some people very rich for not any very good reason. It is time for it to come out into the open that we may see if our money is being used responsibly or fraudulently.
