“Any life, however long and complicated it may be, actually consists of a single moment.”

Quote of the Day:

“The universe (which others call the Library) is composed of an indefinite and perhaps infinite number of hexagonal galleries, with vast air shafts between, surrounded by very low railings.”

Jorge Luis Borges

  1. When in doubt…
Interesting how the articles on Gunung Padang and Michael Shermer stack so well. In one case, we have a long neglected archaeological site finally getting the attention it deserves and next, we read how the world’s most devout skeptic tries his hand playing the ebony instead of the ivory.

Here’s the rub; just behind the door before you, there is a discovery that awaits but, it is locked. So, without a key, the hinges become very inviting but, at the same time, the voices from behind warn that what lies within is fully dependent upon how one enters.

In other words, you find a way to pick the lock -properly- and you will discover what you should. However, if you remove the hinges to take the door down, the contents will… well, somehow be altered.

It is or it ain’t… until the is and the ain’t ain’t what it was and what it was ain’t what it is.

    That’s discovery, scientific style.

  2. Star Wars posters
I didn’t know how much I needed an anime version of The Phantom Menace….but now I do…I need it bad…

…could someone please call the number on my medical bracelet, ask for Cindy, she knows what to do.
