Late, but great:

Thanks to Kat for links

Quote of the Day:

God exists because mathematics is undoubtedly consistent and the devil exists because we cannot prove the consistency

  1. Photoshopped
It’s funny how the Original logo for Adobe Illustrator (6.0 – 9) was “Birth of Venus.” At the time of paintings, having a voluptuous woman was a sign of good health and that she could bare many children. A thin woman would insight sickness and fear of disease, not something a patron would want to convey. That, and many of the models for these woman (early on at least) were actually men. These animations do give a look into the dark side of graphic design though. I once knew a man who gave up on design because this is what he had to do all day, make thin models even thinner. I never want to do that. I don’t like my art to lie nor would I want to feed into (so to speak) this culture of eating disorders and mocking people who have serious medical issues. Burn your Barbie dolls kids.

    1. Halliburton and solar panels
In addition to being the slimiest of US government war contractors, Halliburton’s core business is the international oil business, in all its permutations.

      ‘Nuff said.
