”The easiest way to solve a problem is to deny it exists.”

Quote of the Day:

“There is no belief, however foolish, that will not gather its faithful adherents who will defend it to the death.”

Isaac Asimov

dang, i wish my schools were so open the letting the students build things like that. I’m still amazed we actually got to use Bunsen burners. Then again, if you were one of those lucky kids that got a chemistry set as a toy, this should be a no brainer to you.

kids these days…with their iphones and ipads and nuclear fusion reactors….

    😛

  2. Issac, Issac, Issac….
There are no materialists, however supposedly “open-minded”, who have ever had the intellectual honesty to admit their own hypocrisy in not recognizing the central aspect of faith in their own belief systems.

  3. darling, you have a wonderful
darling, you have a wonderful site, easy to use, great to look at EXCEPT, toenail fungus ads? not only that, but the most hideous case ever photographed? i’m such a perfectionist, it always ticks me off when i slave away at something and at the LAST moment something or someone jumps in and spoils the look. are you at the mercy of the ads, or can you control what is on your site? cause the toe ads are killing it

    1. ads
my ads show Vistaprint and a video game…i think? anyway TDG nor most websites that run ads have control over what is advertised. Some ads pick up on anything you just visited. So if you just visited say a medical or health insurance website, you may get a toenail fungus ad. some ad companies track you that’s why. The reason for ads, well it helps keep costs down by selling ad space on you site. If you don’t want to see ads and you are running Firefox you can download the plugin called Adblock and it stops the ads. or you can switch the Flash off temporarily while on this site.

I think most people just ignore them.

      Hi t’mara,

We have no control over the ads that are served through Google Ads – and in fact, they are different for most people, as they are ‘personalised’ to readers (by Google) through knowing your browsing and search history. So if I search for a nice camera lens, I will generally get camera advertisements when I see a Google Ad.

Google flowers for a while, should make things prettier around here.
      😉

      Kind regards,
      Greg
