Quote of the Day:

“Dogmatism and skepticism are both, in a sense, absolute philosophies; one is certain of knowing, the other of not knowing. What philosophy should dissipate is certainty, whether of knowledge or ignorance.”

~Bertrand Russell

1. No, no he isn’t
I too have no interest in this film, but perhaps not for the same reason. It looks funny but lame at the same time…wait…maybe that is the reason 😛

I’m sorry I’m more of a DC fan.

1. Guardians of the Galaxy
RPJ, I consider myself a comic book nerd, at least in some level, and I’ve never heard of Guardians of the Galaxy until now, and I’m not too excited either. So no, you are not alone.

1. Guradians – meh

Yeah. I’m a big fan of Marvel and hadn’t heard of GotG until I read this thread. I just looked it up and it seem like they suck. So many great Marvel characters and they picked them to do a film around. Sheesh.

2. Nope
Am I the only nerd on the Interwebs who is not in the slightest excited about this?
I saw site after site saying the trailer was ‘incredible’ and ‘hilarious’, and I watched it and shrugged. Didn’t find it funny, didn’t look like something I’d want to watch.

Might be a great movie, just saying a lot of geeks are reading more into the trailer than I’m seeing.

1. Encryption and 3D printing –
Encryption and 3D printing – two technologies highly “disruptive” to the plans of the Surveillance State and Total Control State. A third possibility would be what I call Deceptive Browsing and Deceptive Communications. The fad would be for everyone to start blogging and emailing content that does not in any way represent what they are actually thinking or interested in and to almost reflexively pepper their online communication with random stuff that has nothing to do with sense or sensibility. This all might look like code of some sort that would essentially be uncrackable but which the search algorithm would waste energy trying to decipher. Therefore, meet me at the Church of God and we will discuss the carrot and stick apostrophe we talked about at the shoe store where the Nike’s were fairly priced.

3. news
Son of God: I still feel sorry for this actor who’s role in The Bible is solely remembered for this reason. Yes he looks like the Sith version of Obama. I hope he can still get work after this.

the sun: 1 in 4 seems really terrible. Since there are 4 people in my office, and each says they believe the earth revolves around the sun…what does this study suggest? someone is lying 😛

Pepsi: The equivalent if a high ranking employee of Marlboro cigarettes joined the board of directors at Weight Watchers.

goats: daaawwwww, don’t tell the trolls :3

1. Studies & Polls
I keep thinking on what Joe Rogan uses to say about phone polls: that they’re completely unreliable because they only collect info on people who are stupid enough to take the time to answer a phone poll 😉

1. What is with the elites and
What is with the elites and dressing in drag? Is this just a milder version of what they do at the really nasty bashes in some castle somewhere where hidden cameras film them fellating each other so that every single captain of industry and finance has a “control file” a mile long?

1. Control
Beats me, but it wouldn’t be that surprising that for these incredible powerful men, their kinkiest fantasies would involve submitting to a vinyl-clad dominatrix, in order to allow themselves to be on the submissive side once every month 😉

1. The tradition of kink looks
The elite milieu and tradition of kink looks to me like it is promoted in order to compromise people. The secret halls of power are all about blackmail which is probably the NSA’s most urgent mission above all others. The entire political and power apparatus is governed by blackmail. The last president for instance to actually stand up to it and not accede was Clinton during the Lewinsky honey trap episode. He took the hit rather than do whatever it was the perps were trying to pressure him to do – probably something heinous on behalf of Israel and the military/industrial complex.
So, how does one subvert the dominant paradigm when power is so concentrated and compromised? Why, by magick of course. It is the only avenue left open to us. Hence, sites like TDG.
