Off-topic, but I can’t help myself… Russell Brand recently shredded MSNBC’s ‘talent’, reducing all three hosts to stammering. He then wrote about the interview, asking, “Why is our culture behaving like this? How has this become normal?” Russell is so sharp, I sometimes wonder if he’s secretly in possession of a sword he pulled from a stone.

Quote of the Day:

A full 90% of all the data in the world has been generated over the last two years.

Big Data – for better or worse.

  1. the curse of cursive
After speaking with many teachers, and sadly working with many people who do not know cursive, i realized that cursive is more and more being cut from the core curriculum. i learned it (and was never good at it and still am not), but everyone after my generation, even if by one year, are learning either less or not at all. can’t even sign there name, but than again that’s the least of our worries as humanity when kids are writing essays using the abbreviations from text messages…lmao 😉

    1. Outdated curriculum
Schools aren’t teaching how to make bows & arrows, either 😉

Then again, I’m sure that many people enjoy archery as a hobby. Likewise, the same will probably happen with cursive writing.
