    Studies have shown that Neanderthals are highly underrated. They were atleast as intelligent as we are, maybe more intelligent and they interbred with us. It has been shown that early humans interbred with each other and we are the result. Everybody is a mesteso. Neanderthals lived noth of the artic circle before they had control of fire!

      He! I always found it odd how there wasn’t a proper translation for Mestizo in the English language. Pretty Orwellian if you ask me 😉

      But I agree with you. Not only Neanderthals, but all the rest of the hominid family are hugely underrated, merely because they died out.

      On the other hand, we are fascinated with the mighty saurians that ruled over our planet millions of years ago. But we see their demise as an unfair ‘accident’. Maybe our condescendence is borne out of a feeling that we might just share the same fate.

        Mut isn’t used when refering to humans; even though, we are muts!:)

        Maybe the Saurians educated and helped our ancestors get started. After that the Saurians might have left our planet. They may or may not have evolved here. On the other-hand, maybe they destroyed themselves in a great war.

        I think that humans fail to understand that we are the result of the mating of all previous humanoids and not a superior speces of humanoid that dominated and destroyed all other species of humanoid. No species of humanoid survived intact.

        The Japanese monkeys, Macquacs, have been very depressed and dispondent lately. So, the situation, which is of concern to everyone, has beed investigated. It turns out that they learned that they were decended from humans!:)

          and indeed, all of reality is a mutt, because energy cannot be destroyed, matter comes from energy, so all energy, all the different bits of matter have come together and apart in so many different ways and forms…so you are part supernova, pulsar, fungi, breath from Jesus, soil from Mars, etc etc.

          it is we who give things identities and name them, give them some kind of soul or internal unchangable essence, when everything is in flux and endless mixing

            also, these different experiments that we all are, there are different aspects of reality that can do different things, can be thought of as ‘races’ — transhumanism can be thought of as creating intentional races, organisms that do certain things well, etc etc, avoiding the religious Marxist “everyone has to be the exact same”
