Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

  1. The killer amoungst us
    Re: Unraveling the chemicals-cancer link.

Just a few comments on the subject in general…

Over the last five years, my wife lost a mother, and I lost my brother to cancer.

One had been a long time smoker, but had quit well over a decade before passing. One had never smoked a cigarette in their entire lifetime.
One spent many years in the military, both in uniform and in civil service. The other hardly ever left their home region in NE Ohio. US.

Both were diagnosed and treated with chemo and radiation. Both died in less than a year.

It has been my opinion ever since that the treatments they were given were as deadly as the cancer.

It is my opinion that cancer is not caused so much by poor personal habits and lifestyles, but rather the environments in which we all live and work.

And not to make this a personal crusade, I do believe that the big pharmas know that their horribly expensive potions and concoctions are useless and dangerous.

    *sigh*

    I’m done.

      1. What it is
As odd as it is (or, maybe not), I can’t deny that I trust my domestic pharma less than those elsewhere who may just be independent enough to succeed in finding a genuine cure.

        Thanks for the link 🙂

  2. giant aliens
Graves of giant aliens found in jungle of central Africa.

Don’t you just love the occasional Pravda ‘news’ article?

Amongst all the supposed scientists and researchers finding all sorts of interesting stuff, Pravda only mentions one name: ‘archaeologist’ Gaston de Villars.

And amazingly enough, the only thing Villars has supposedly ever found was this giant mummy. In fact, based on a google web search, this amazing mummy find appears to have been the only event in Villars supposed life.

Wait, wait — I’ve figured it out: Villars must be one of those aliens that Dean says look exactly like humans, and after Villars found this amazing giant mummy, he must have immediatly warped back to his home planet.

I’ll bet Villars’ sudden appearance and disappearance really pissed off Zahi.
