A belated happy rebirth day to the Dalai Lama.

Quote of the Day:

People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use.

~ Soren Kierkegaard (1813 – 1855)

  1. Psilocybin says…
    … take a brief trip.

Actually, just forget all of that. You don’t own your brain… the DEA does and they say, stay the hell home and watch TV.

I sometimes wonder whether God ever envisioned a day when some small number of his inventions would assume greater ownership over the flora of the Earth solely to deny it to others.

Hey, driving a car without a seatbelt may not be the smartest thing to do, especially with today’s drivers. But… whose choice is it anyway? If I get sprung from my seat, popped through the windshield and end up as a bloody hood ornament on the remains of my own automobile, who’s to say that I wasn’t allowed?

Same goes for certain naturally growing substances. How does one outlaw a weed that grows from the dirt… or fungus? Is it me or is there a certain presumptive arrogance in this?

Well, yes and no. There are those who are so much smarter than the rest of us. You know they are worthy of being your keeper just by noting how well they have done with the rest of modern society.

Are you experienced? I am… but mostly with a lifetime of avoiding suffocation from these types.

    1. Microdosing Psilocybin
I was recently talking to someone who was enthusiastic about micro-dosing himself with psilocybin, and so I did some digging only to find that it has been a happening idea for some years now. This writer below was the most fun to read on the subject:

Could Psilocybin Be the Next Caffeine? A Microdosing Report.
      http://disinfo.com/2015/03/psilocybin-next-caffeine-microdosing-report/

“I can see it now: low dose psilocybin pills at every truck stop, gas station from here to hell. But the more interesting question is, how does this stuff work exactly? Is it dangerous to do this sort of thing daily like I drink coffee or would I eventually drift into a permanent state of near overwhelming euphoria? Would the transdimensional daemon lords start manipulating me in positive and near imperceptible ways? Would I turn into a bug? I have zero clue, which is why I’ll probably never go all in and try such a thing for any extended period. Also, and most significantly, it seems to be unleashing energy from deep within your mind somehow, which is a bit different than how things like caffeine and speed work, to the best of my knowledge.”

    1. Ringo Starr
Ringo is 70. Today.
I didn’t know this, which makes my ‘Yellow Submarine’ joke (and segue from the previous psychedelic links) a nice synchronicity! This, and dreaming I met Cecile Corbel whilst picking mushrooms is the cosmos giving me a hint methinks…

      1. and yet…….
I don’t find it troubling or amazing that Ringo made it to 70.

I find it amazing that Keith Richards and Steve Tyler are still alive. THAT, I believe is absolute evidence for God having a sense of humor.
