Quote of the Day:

Happiness is an imaginary condition, formerly attributed by the living to the dead, now usually attributed by adults to children, and by children to adults.

  1. regarding your links
    to my beloved editors and posters;

    there’s just a thought i have that i personally think would improve the grail; as i have been following your site for a couple of years now, i have come to see some of your sources being more valuable than others, such as say graham hancock’s website or national geographic compared to say pravda.ru or indiantimes, which value a more um.. commercial approach.
    i generally see the source as being at least as interesting as the article itself, and i would love to see the source being visible beside or beneath each headline, thus;

    # How Neanderthals met a grisly fate. (Guardian)

    Perhaps in a grey colour to make it secondary and distinguished from the headline.

    Either how, I am very grateful for your trustful service, and the grail is by far my most visited webpage, and I autofrequently spread the word of the bird. I will definitely donate some dollars for diesel as soon as I get those demon-creditors of my back.

    Keep up the good work!

    1. Sources

      Hi b0neshaker,

      Thanks for the feedback. This has been something we’ve considered before, but decided against for the following reasons. Firstly, it makes things look a bit more messy, and interrupts the ‘flow’ of reading the news a little. Secondly, it’s more work for the news admins, and they already put a lot of time in. Lastly, it’s not that hard to view the source of an article, simply by putting your mouse over the link and seeing where it leads by taking a glance at your browser’s status bar (normally at the bottom of the browser). So all in all, probably not worth the extra hassles given the easy (although perhaps not ideal) solution.

      Appreciate your support, and kind words.

      Kind regards,
      Greg

    It’s not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me…
    It’s all the rabbit SH*T you stumble over on your way down!!!
