Quote of the Day:

Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity. They seem more afraid of life than death.

  1. Mystery of ice circles…
…However, their origins remain unknown. Some people have suggested that – just like crop circles – aliens and UFOs are involved…
What took so long?

I was getting worried…but it was just a matter of time, right?

    🙂

    Cheers

  2. Chinese UFO
Which had nothing at all to do with the upcoming Chinese New Year…

Flares and multicolour flashing LEDs to balloons and let them go…in formation too.

Keeps the locals going and is rather fun to do. (I live in China).

Oh yeah these guys had “a camera with a 700X zoom capability.” No mention at all that 700x is digital zoom not optical which means they got a bunch of distorted pixels…oh yeah like the photo posted.

Yep, Randi, that “cranky old man who needs to misinform the public about the ‘truth'” is the only one who does the distorting, huh?

    Happy Chinese New Year anyway!

    Cheers

    1. Yep
Definitely distorted pixels produced by the digital camera.

The same diamond-shaped UFO was also recorded by this guy in Costa Rica.

What bugged me about these videos is that the guy ALWAYS got the same diamond profile. It didn’t feel like the image of a tridimensional object. The China UFO confirmed it for me.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that the lights witnessed by Doggie The UFO Hunter in Costa Rica—or the ones in China— are therefore conventional. Just that these people are seeing more than what’s really there.

…Or, the China video is nothing but a forgery taken from Doggies’ videos on Youtube. I don’t think the guy in Costa Rica is forging though; but he may be deluding himself—the fact that he imbibes great quantities of rum&coke when filming is not very reassuring.

    2. Not Alone…

Commentary on the UFO Updates mailing list has pretty much said the same thing…additional comments suggest that the length of time of the sighting, and the changing colors, are all indicative of a celestial object zoomed too closely on digital zoom.
Yep, Randi, that “cranky old man who needs to misinform the public about the ‘truth'” is the only one who does the distorting, huh?
I don’t believe anyone here made that claim?

      Kind regards,
      Greg

        1. Who’s Number One!?
PS: Greg I noticed you are user #2… who is user #1? I would have thought you would be the capo di tutti capo.
That would be my secret chief, who issues all the orders for me to manipulate the puny minds of all reade…oh, I don’t think I’m supposed to say that.

Actually, user #1 is the all powerful ‘Admin’ account. But I have to get dressed in a superhero costume before I’m allowed to use the powers invested in that account (you know, turning the Internet on and off, etc).

          Kind regards,
          Greg

And I thought #1 was that guy with the nickname “Goofy AntiScience Guy”! 😛

          2. #1 and #2 have nothing to say
It is user #0 that we have to worry about.

Or more accurately, we should have worried about #0 years ago. It is way too late now, we are all doomed.

            Oh I better 🙂
