Endless thanks to all TDG Admins, Readers, Fans and Friends!

Quote of the Day:

“What lies behind us and before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us…”

Anonymous

  1. Anonymous = Emerson
I’m pretty sure that the quote has been attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson. can’t for teh life of me track down its exact derivation, but I just thought I’d would share that.

    D

    1. It’s often attributed to Emerson…
But it’s also been credited to Oliver Wendell Holmes, Whitman, and Thoreau.

Believe me, I wanted to give Emerson the credit 🙂

  2. Action Auto
    Love the clip! Great!

    Turner, why aren’t you credited?

I loved the guy collapsed dead while signing the contract.

An alternate line when they discover the guy is dead:

Sales Guy: Guys, help me get him into the car, tow it to his house and put that credit through (scribbles on contract) he’s already signed it.

    Cheers

    1. Because…

Quentin…errr, Turner…doesn’t use his real name here on TDG. It’s hard to do the news briefs when the ladies keep throwing panties at you.

      Kind regards,

    1. Cornell, not just an Ivy League school any more…
Indeed. Been a fan (to varying degrees) of pretty much every musical offering Chris Cornell has been a part of.

Soundgarden takes top honors (natch), followed by Audioslave, then Temple and I even have a soft spot for his solo work (albeit a soft small spot).

      Nice catch, mon ami!

      🙂
