Out there, in the dark… the multiverse is waiting.

Special thanks to RMG and RPJ and LC and SC!

Quote of the Day:

  1. Shine On…

Volcanoes on the dark side of the moon or just the delicate sound of thunder… [/quote]

Ah, as I sit here listening to David Gilmour’s brilliant soloing on Shine On You Crazy Diamond, that Floyd wordplay works well! Cheers GC, and have a good weekend. 🙂

    Kind regards,
You monkeys only think you’re running things

  2. Deep down
It’s not the Earth’s deepest point, it’s the deepest point in the ocean. I think the Earth goes down quite a bit farther.

There has to be a better alternative to the human mind

      1. Where are the subaquatic cities???
I remember reading about Piccard’s accomplishment in one of my grand-uncle’s books; tat article was followed by a story about a prolonged-immersion experiment held at the Red Sea, where 3 divers spent several weeks living on an enclosed under-sea laboratory and breathing a helium-oxygen mix.

That was approx 25 years ago. Back then I was SURE I would grow to see submarine cities where people would have dolphins as pets and ride personal submersibles to go to work. Maybe they would even be bio-engineered to replace their lungs with a special bag filled with a special fluid.
Those childish fantasies were later encouraged by the TV series Seaquest DSV.

There are currently many countries determined to become the top space power in the world. And also several prizes intended to encourage the development of space technologies; which produced such wonders as Burt Rutan’s Space Ship 1.

I think we need an X-Prize aimed not for the skies, but for the opposite direction. We need the submarine version of Space Ship 1. Is there a Rutan-like visionary out there willing to accept the challenge?

It’s not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me…
It’s all the rabbit SH*T you stumble over on your way down!!!
