Pardon the meta experiment…

Thanks RPJ and N.H. Redington (who from now on I think I shall simply refer to as ‘Red’).

Quote of the Day:

A good cause can become bad if we fight for it with means that are indiscriminately murderous. A bad cause can become good if enough people fight for it in a spirit of comradeship and self-sacrifice. In the end it is how you fight, as much as why you fight, that makes your cause good or bad.

I’m not going to get started on a rant because it seems to have sparked controversy on this site in the past…but here it goes…

I am not a vegetarian, however, I do recommend people should cut down on meat consumption for health reasons, along with being more aware of where their meat comes from. Now since most people find it easier and more affordable to go to the supermarket and by meat rather than pay for “free-range.”

What really bothers me is (1) the people who work at these industrial processing facilities where the chickens are kept in small cages and cows or pigs in their own feces usually have preexisting sadistic tendencies towards animals, so they abuse them and get a thrill out of it (2) Most people turn a blind eye to this and don’t care or deny truth (3) vivisection (4) the fact that most companies, such as McDonald’s, would rather have the cheaper way of doing things than care about animal welfare. I believe animals feels pain and can fell sick and can feel depressed.

I have swore off fast food for health issues along with the above stated reasons, and even though I am not a vegetarian and don’t encourage or discourage it, I do agree with many of their point (except PETA cuz they can get off hand sometimes). Really we should be treating them better, we can still eat them, but treat them better.

    Okay let the assault begin…
