The secret to how I gather the news is out -- I have gnome assistants. Unfortunately, they make terrible coffee (so that's my job now; the gnomes write the news instead).

My humble gnome assistants don't want to be thanked.

I've done some investigation of spoon bending, and found that I was easily able to bend spoons and fork handles as shown in the video using only physical strength.

On the other hand, I was unable to bend any spoon bowls, as is commonly seen at PK parties.

I'd love to see a video of someone buckling the bowl of a normal spoon.

Hi Matt, good to see you posting here.

Y'know, seeing is believing, that's how I feel. I -want- to believe, but until I see it actually happen, and know for certainty that no shady tricks are involved, then I'm in the 50/50 camp. It's definitely possible, but I find it hard to put both feet over the line of believing when all I have are second-hand accounts (and dodgy video demonstrations like the one I posted).

All I want to know is where are all my teaspoons disappearing too? I swear, I used to have a dozen and now there's only a few left. I do however have all matching pairs of socks.

...find all those matching socks in the same load of laundry, though!! There's always one lurking invisibly somewhere that turns up in the next week's washing!

I had to go offline and take my blogs down for personal reasons, but those have been worked out and I'm going to start posting online again soon.

I always read TDG with my morning hot cocoa, though! Like LOTS of other people. . .
