Modern Nazca lines?

This is another strange road in the Pisco region in Peru (see my other entry re: Band of Holes near Pisco Valley). It is about 20m wide and goes for many miles through the desert (I think it is mainly military area). It is lighter than its surroundings and marked by small craters spread apart in equal intervals (approximately 200m). This entire zone has many precise lines in the desert with unclear purpose...

Rare images of Nazca Lines

The link mentioned here offers also very rare images of "Nazca Lines" that are visible in the mountains far beyond the plane where the famous Nazca animal figures and lines are located. Here is an example: 14S75W
