General Strike, Hitting The Streets.

This is a great opinion/apology that expresses how I feel about the National Strike on 9/11 of next week...

I have my plan for the day, and I'm not buying anything for some time to come. Cut them off were it hurts. MONEY. Because they have no balls.

P.S. My husband just called to tell me Steve Fossett and his plane are missing in Nevada. I hope he's alright. We love you and hope your found safe and sound! I worked with Steve back in the 80's at the CBOE a great man, genius, fun, always looking for the next adventure! Hang in there Peggy!

Well Bladerunner, you know I disagree about this strike, no sense rehashing that again.

About Steve Fosset, I emphatically do agree with you. We need some more people like him, to move things forward. And I hope he will be with us, pushing us forward, for a long time.

Hopefully, Richard Branson is correct in his guess - Steve could be waiting next to his airplane, waiting to be picked up.

Hope Steve is found safe and well.

Earthling - what does your signature line mean, please? I only know 4 words in German, and they are not helpful to a person who suffers a black hole in the head where other people's languages are concerned!

It is very hard to translate, which is why I didn't translate it:)

But I try to explain. It is a silly joke, making fun of the country of Liechtenstein, which is very small. It is a real country, in the sense that it has a seat at the UN.

The quote says something like this:

Traveller on foot, if you come to Liechtenstein - don't step around it, step right in the middle.

You see, it is so small that you could miss it in a single step.

In German (the official language of Liechtenstein), it has rhythm and rime, and because everyone over there knows this silly details, it is also funny.

I think now you know why I said that it is hard to translate.
