This is the nomenclature of different categories of cuckold:
LI BECCHI = They don’t know to be cuckold.
LI CUCCUBBONI = The know to be cuckold but continue to live in peace for quiet life.
LI BECCONI = They know to be cuckold and speculates on.
ER TRIBECCO = This man brings his friend at home and go away leaving his friend alone with his wife
ER CALIDONE = He holds the banner of the procession of Saint Martin,

Alcuni giorni fa (11 Novembre) è stata celebrate la festa dei cornuti.
Inizialmente l’11 Novembre era la festa di San Martino, vescovo di Tours, abbinata spesso alle fiere del bestiame, ancora prima era una festa che celebrava l’inizio del nuovo anno che cominciava a Novembre…
poi è diventata la festa dei mariti traditi.
Attualmente in alcuni paesi viene organizzata anche “La sfilata dei Cornuti”, accompagnata dalla banda musicale, seguita dall’elezione del cornuto dell’anno e dalla distribuzione della zuppa “Rappacornuti” (Calma cornuti) chiamata così perché, anche se pronta per mangiare, si mantiene calda per ore, così le donne hanno tempo libero da dedicare ad altro…
Questa è la nomenclatura delle varie categorie di cornuti:
LI BECCHI = Non sanno di essere cornuti.
LI CUCCUBBONI = Sanno di essere cornuti ma campare per quieto vivere.
LI BECCONI = Sanno di essere cornuti e ci speculano sopra.
ER TRIBECCO = Questo porta l’amico a casa sua e se ne va lasciando il suo amico con la moglie.
ER CALIDONE = Lui porta stendardo della processione di San Martino,
ed è colui che accompagna direttamente la moglie a casa dell’amante.
