- The Full Moon of October is also called Red Moon, Moon of blood, Moon of falling leafs, Moon of ten colds, Moon of the changing season, Moon of the hunter.
It was called Red Moon, Moon of blood or Moon of the hunter, because she becomes full into the season hunting.
It is celebrated wearning something of red, burning red candles, incense, cinnamon and nutmeg, decorating the table with pumpkin, apples and autumnal leafs, eating ginger-biscuits and drinking red wine.

E’chiamata Luna Rossa o Luna del Sangue o Luna del Cacciatore perché diventa piena nella stagione della caccia.
Si festeggia indossando qualcosa di color rosso, bruciando candele dello stesso colore e dell'incenso di cannella e noce moscata, decorando la tavola con zucche, mele, foglie autunnali, mangiando biscotti allo zenzero e bevendo vino rosso.

- CONSIGLI PER LA PELLE
1) Maschera per pelle secca:
Mescolare un cucchiaio di farina d’orzo, un cucchiaio di ricotta ed un pò di latte o ricotta: stendere sul viso.
2) Lozione per pelle grassa:
Far bollire per 10 minuti una manciata di foglie di timo ed una manciata di foglie di rosmarino. Filtrare, raffreddare e tamponare sul viso con il cotone ogni mattina.
3) Rughe:
Mettere al macero in 100 ml di olio di semi di girasole o olio di mais, per 2 giorni, 10 grammi di carota secca. Applicare con un lieve massaggio.
4) Maschera rivitalizzante:
Frullare 10 ciliegie (senza nocciolo) e 1 cucchiaio di miele, se il composto risulta troppo denso aggiungere acqua di rose. Applicare sul viso e collo lasciare agire per 15-20 minuti e sciacquare prima con acqua calda poi tiepida infine fredda.
