What an opportunity to examine biology in transition. I'm in favour of cloning one of these.

On the other hand, I knew the Russians gave out harsh jail sentences, and didn't shy away from torture. But 40,000 years in Siberia? What could the little animal possibly have said to deserve it?

... if not entirely stoned bunch.

Having spent a year or two of my youth exploring the inner regions via a ride on the Orange Sunshine Express, I can identify with their enthusiasm but... not quite their logic.

But then again, logic has very little to do with any part of an acid trip.

In truth, too much psychedelic transhumanising can leave one less in touch, not just with reality, but with self. You can develop an insatiable urge to totally disconnect with the tangible world and live out your life as a stalk of asparagus.

No shit, I was once a tree...

Never mind.

My sentiments precisely.

I think they must be a culture-bound phenomenon -- because I've never heard of any Amazon shamans who are looking forward to their brains being integrated with computers.
