UK police chase UFO in helicopter

This is probably one of the most important UFO encounters of late. On June 7th at a military base near Cardiff, a police helicopter was waiting to land when it had a near miss with a UFO, described by the 3 occupants as ‘saucer-shaped’.

The pilot was forced to take evasive action, as the UFO closed in at great speed. The helicopter reportedly then followed the UFO across the Bristol Channel to the North Devon coast, before returning, although this has since been denied. Despite having plenty of recording equipment on board, they were apparently unable to capture an image.

Here’s an interview by Jeff Rense with UFO researcher Nick Pope: Part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

  1. Can the story be trusted?
I’ve been following this story, but haven’t listened to the interview. They were waiting to land, so they would have been in contact with air traffic control — has the story been backed up by anyone on the ground in contact with the helicopter crew? You’d think a police helicopter would be required to immediately report “evasive action”, so there must be a recording of radio contact.

    1. Wait and see
Not as yet as far as I’m aware. Given the clear danger posed by this reported incident, there ought to be an official investigation, and I guess there’d be a radar trace. We’ll have to wait and see…

  2. Dagnabbit!!!
Well, isn’t this just flaming typical!!

I’m always looking up at the skies, hoping one day to witness something that defies identification in the conventional sense, and here we have a perfect example of Sod’s Law in action.

I was in Cardiff on the 7th June – the start of a week holiday with the family, staying at my parent’s flat on Cardiff Bay.

Did I see anything that defied conventional explanation?? Did I heck! Life is cruel. I’ll keep watching the skies though – one day, just you wait – one day…..

p.s. heard an interview with Nick Pope on BBC Radio 4 over this. I agree with his synopsis that the radar logs will hold the key to this event. Cardiff international airport is nearby, and the air base too……something must exist on the radar logs (if the object was visible to radar, anyway).

    1. I feel ya, dude 😉
Same goes with me. I’m the one who read about this stuff, and the one time I refused to join my parents on a road trip, and THAT’S the time they saw a UFO!

God gives bread to the toothless 😉

It’s not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me…
It’s all the rabbit SH*T you stumble over on your way down!!!
