15 Weird Covers Of The Yugoslavian Science Magazine ‘Galaksija’

In the Seventies and Eighties, Yugoslavian science magazine Galaksija pumped out dozens of mind-blowingly weird covers that could easily be mistaken for prog rock LPs. Here's but a sampling of the many triptacular designs that hit Balkan newstands several decades ago.

My previous landlord & "cousin" were Punjabi*, so I got to watch a lot of "Bollywood" movies -- I like them for their sense of 'glam' and was amazed at how they can steal from other movies shamelessly -- I've already seen versions of Memento & Usual Suspects.

* I used to not understand those who enjoyed pain while eating food, but now I enjoy SPICY food :3 There were many times when I'd have their lamb curry and feel my body's systems shut down for aboot 10 minutes and then after I felt totally up and frisky.

Capsicine dilates the blood vessels.

It also kind of atrophies your sense of taste, you know. With Mexican food, the first thing you do when your meal is served is fetch the salsa bowl. My Ecuadorian brother-in-law loves to make fun of us that we don't actually know how our food taste because we've already overwhelmed our gustatory receptors with chili ;)
