Orale vatos! Let’s help Greg’s campaign reach 4k, qué no?
…Or do I have to call my main negotiator to convince you?

Thanks to Rick and his amazing beard.

Quote of the Day:

“Life + Significance = Magic.”

~Grant Morrison

  1. “Life + Significance = Magic.”
    “Life + Significance = Magic.”

    ~Grant Morrison

Ah it’s nice to see the blessed Granty expanding ever further beyond the borders of his famously reality rupturing comic panels.

If you’ve never taken LSD but wondered what it’d feel like…

    Try reading…

    The Invisibles

    The Filth

    The Seven Soldiers of Victory

    WHEW!

  2. JJ Abrams Revolution is too
JJ Abrams Revolution is too glossy. I understand tv viewers like to watch pretty people, but if the entire planet is wihtout electricity for 15 years with the complete collapse of civilzation and presumably mass population die off…why do the characters have perfectly pressed brand new off the shelf clothing? Is there an endless supply? I hate that…

Didn’t Cameron already cover this terriotry with Dark Angel? I’ll check it out because I like post-apocolyptic, but…questioning its legs…

    1. well
looks a little better than LOST………a little less confusing. but i kinda wish is was a movie so i wouldn’t have to wait a week to see the next part of the plot.

  3. Coffee is “food for the body”
Coffee is “food for the body” so said Edgar Cayce…BUT add cream to it and it becomes a poison to the system “creating disturbances” so he said. Drink your freshly ground and brewed coffee black without cream or sugar or anything added and yes it is quite healthy.

Those Starbuck’s concotions will kill you…

    1. Lattemochanstrosities

Well, it depends IMO People have different tolerances to caffeine.

I can drink 2 cups right before going to bed and I have no problem getting my shut-eye —then again, I usually closed my eyes past 2 in the morning, but that’s for another discussion 😛

I also honestly think having young’uns hooked on Java at an early age is not wise.

      PS: I use Splenda, I’m sorry 😉

      1. still one of my favorite movies…
…also i wouldn’t stress, every other week they say it’s good for you, then the next it gives you cancer. all you have to do is watch the stock of starbucks and see when it starts dropping, i’ll bet the news will say it’s good for you.

i don’t drink coffee personally, never liked the taste, and aspirtane and splenda make me violently ill, can’t even drink some sodas.

    2. Like I like my women (bitter and addictive)
This is good news for me. I would find a way to give up oxygen before I gave up coffee. I’ll just ignore the fact that I’m more likely to die at any given moment and focus on living forever…

But anyhow, here’s a tip for coffee drinkers who can’t handle (aren’t man enough, is what I’m trying to say) black coffee. I’ve found if you buy whole beans and grind them yourself, then use water that is not quite boiling, it eliminates a lot of the burnt, unpleasant bitterness people typically associate with coffee. Also try a dash of cinnamon and unsweetened cocoa (with a pinch of cloves, if you’re feeling saucy.)

  4. The Tunguska Event Is Very Interesting!
    Red Pill,

I learned about the Tunguska Event in the mid 1950s. So, I hope that this latest data can help explain it! Thank-you for posting it.

    1. My pleasure
I would also recommend you give a listen to the latest episode of Mysterious Universe. Ben & Aaron discussed Tunguska, along with some very interesting stories re. the ‘Valley of Death’. You don’t want to miss it 🙂

      Episode 720

        1. You’re welcome
It’s a podcast actually, though the MU guys are working on start offering video on their site.

And yes, this is something of a shameless plug, since I happen to be one of their official writers 😉

            Red Pill,

I’m looking forward to listening to some of your dialogue.
