Short and sweet so I can eat my gravy rings and watch the snooker.

      1. The Wonders of English Cuisine
Hi to all those that are ignorant of the wonders of English Cuisine.

For years us English have been mocked for our tasteless food and bland diets. But little did you know about the sweet delicacies of our regional kitchens.

Gravy rings, for example, are an example of “liquid dinners” that us Brits enjoy from time to time. In this case, the gravy is poured slowly into a saucepan of cool swirling water. As the gravy hits the cold water it becomes less viscous and draws itself out into a thick liquidy string that forms a hoop in the swirling water. This is then moved to one side and the process repeated until you have a saucepan full of little gravy circles.

These are then eaten as an appetiser (or hors d’oeuvres) using an implement designed speficically for the task – the gravy circle spoon. Imagine a normal spoon head, stretched from its end round into a circle so that it comes back to meet itself. You get a circular spoon with a large hole in the middle, but with a circular channel for picking up liquids. Voila! The perfect implement for eating Gravy Rings.

Authentic antique Gravy Ring Spoons are very rare these days and often fetch a king’s ransom at auction. Coveted by collectors, one enthusiast in Singapore recently paid over £150,000 for a set of 6 Gravy Ring Spoons once used by King George III.

Now tell me the truth with your fingers uncrossed.
There are no such things as gravy rings, but I admit for a very short time I fell for it.
The way you British fall for our hoop snakes.

        2. Xibalba!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
          Your recipe does not work.
I have been cooking all day and I have saucepans all over the kitchen with gravy in them.
When the gravy hits the water it all sort of mixes in and doesn’t form a ring.
Is there something you left out of the recipe?
          I am awaiting your response.

          1. Missing ingredient
            Hi Shadows,

going back over my previous post I realise I have made a rather drastic omission. The gravy mix must be thickened up before pouring. When you make the gravy mix, dissolve into the gravy 2 teaspoons of corn starch, half a teaspoon of salt, a large block of Edam cheese (or Red Leicester if you prefer), one whole packet of concentrated wobbly jelly mix, two table spoons of peanut butter (smooth is best, but crunchy adds texture) and half a shovel of cement powder.

That little lot will ensure you get a nice thick gloopy gravy syrup. Believe me, this WILL set on impact with the cool swirling water.

Good luck with the recipe. Can you send us some pictures of you making Gravy Rings in your kitchen – I’ll forward them to the Royal Society of Gravy Ring Appreciation for posting on the “international” section of their website.

            thanks.

  1. Recovered Greek texts
The news about all the ancient Greek texts now being able to be read is tremendously exciting. They expect to find numerous lost early Christian works, and this will prove to be a huge problem for our new Pope, for it will prove that the early church censored and edited the Bible, thus undermining the whole foundation of the modern Christian church.

I of course will be breathlessly waiting to see if these newly unveiled Christian manuscripts will confirm my 18 years of research into the binary soul doctrine and its untold relationship with Original Christianity.

    1. Spirit and Soul
      Hi Peter,

It should indeed be interesting to see what they will come up with in relation to these writings.

This is where I situate this process (in reference to your work on the Binary Soul Doctrine).
The separation between the soul and the spirit was part of the primal Christian convictions.

The end goal of the evolutionary forces to activate the fusion process between spirit and the mortal, for the spirit to fuse with the soul, in order to create an integrated consciousness that would be based on the infinity of the spirit rather than the astral subjectivity supported by the world of the dead to which the soul belongs.

This is well represented in the well-known descent of the ‘holy spirit’ upon the apostles on the day of the Pentecost, right? This phenomena that reportedly gave them strength and neutralized their fear, allowing the spirit to speak through them.

This is a possession by the ‘holy spirit’ which is not the fusion between the spirit-self and the soul but it nonetheless illustrates that the ego is just a channel that vibrates at the rate of the energy that possesses it. Its reality then is dependant on the nature of that energy and so is its consciousness. If man is soul and the soul goes to the dead, man is a living dead. If man is spirit and the spirit does not go to the dead, then man has immortalized his consciousness and is no more confined to the lower realms of creation.

It has also been said that all sins will be forgiven except the sin against spirit; not the sin against the soul.
