With all that power and abilities, was he content with performing astounding parlor tricks for the italian high society? 2000 years ago men like him were the shamans and high priests who directed the fate of entire nations; now they are nothing more than curiosities.
Please excuse my cynism. It may be due to the fact that it is late, and I'm tired—and a bit drunk, to be honest—but somehow I would expect people like signore Rol, with those abilities, to be have done something more to help us change our planet. I find myself somewhat disappointed.
Nevertheless, it was really interesting. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Gustavo Rol has been and is a very controversial character, for many people he is just a trickster for other people he is a master.
What I think is that I would like that people like Rol were more open to the people and don't closed into their circle of friends as inaccessible creatures.
