Ciao!

When I was child, and sometime still today, the Sicilian Marionettes passed on me a strange feeling, similar to the melancholy, sadness, bitterness, maybe for their movement, for the stories that they narrates or for the use of the voice and the words so peculiar of this type of theatrical performance.
Anyway they are very fine and I want to show you them

Quando ero bambina, e avolte ancora oggi, I Pupi Siciliani mi trasmettevano una strana emozione simile alla malinconia, tristezza, amarezza, forse a causa dei loro movimenti, per le storie che raccontano, o per l’uso della voce e delle parole così caratteristiche di questo genere di rappresentazione teatrale.
Comunque sono una bella tradizione e voglio mostrarvela.
