I disagree!!
if you were to take a baby at birth and lock them away from all external influences. Then taught that baby, you could teach it how to think as it grew up, and by controlling its experiences and information, you can limit its knowledge and therefor teach it what to think as well.

I believe what Kennc means is that once a person learns how to think independently, they will see the control over their experience and information.
A person who has learned to think independently will often discover that there are limits imposed on them.
You must consider that the controlling influence (slave-masters, religious authorities, governments etc) will have limits in their intelligence and knowledge.
Not every controlled person will find out, but eventually some people will.
You can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Is in the state of West Virginia, location of Point Pleasant, chartered in 1794 and incorporated in 1833. So here is another odd fact to add to the already strange story. Mason (county named for George Mason which was originally part of Kanawah which sounds an awful lot like the phrase I was try to translate back in the nineties, Ko Nah Tey Heh Ne Ta Yo Wah) came up in a search and I had to comment on this as just plain weird. I would still like to know more information on the entity known as Indrid Cole.
It isn't a woman or man or anything that has to do with human beings. You can call it whatever you want, it doesn't matter. In the words of Brother Maynard, "Don't know, won't know". This thing, if it isn't a hoax to begin with, is on a different level than everyone on this planet operates on. Sorry to disappoint those of you who thought we were all special but we're all human and that's all we'll ever be...while we're on this earth at least.

Either "I Don't Know" or "Good Question" should have been possible answers to your pole in my opinion!
Mothman? Couldn't it be Mothwoman?
What do you think?

It was definitely MothMan, rather than MothWoman, since the beast was never seen baking cakes, washing dishes or darning socks.
Hope this helps.

The answer wasn't in the poll, specifically. "It" was/is a demon.
