“…The world is a million possible things.”

Quote of the Day:

“I don’t do drugs… I’ve got enough bizarre chemicals floating around in my head. I’m just naturally like this.”

Terry Gilliam

  1. 11 billion by 2100
I think that’s being too generous, I really don’t think it will take that long. Mind you when I was in college in 2009 it was still at roughly 6 billion and by 2013 7 billion, that’s only 4 years difference. So if we go a billion every few years, we could reach 11 billion by 2030. Many I’ve talked to give the generous estimate of 2050 for everything.

  2. Hubots
Speaking of robot uprisings, I just got around to watch the first episodes of Real Humans last night and is now halfway through the first season of this swedish sci-fi drama set in a parallell Sweden than my own. A world where most hubots (short for humanlike robots) are owned by someone. There are also a few hubots that are free, lead by Niska who obviously doesn’t seem to obey the Asimov laws at all. Then throw in the anti-hubot movement Real Humans and a mysterious guy Leo, who seems to be neither human or bot or maybe both. Look very much forward to see the rest of the episodes in the so far two seasons.
