Was anyone you know suckered in by the Bush speech?
Posted by shadowmom at 00:55, 10 Oct 2005I'm sharing my personal reaction to the madman at the podium this past Thursday. He tried so very hard to rally the nation around his bloody war. I wonder if he succeeded. Here's part of the article. Read the rest on the site if you want to know the tricks that Bush's speech writers pulled.
George Bush’s “Major Speech” Resets the Terror Trap!
Will America Take the Bait?
A TvNewsLIES Analysis
The best political weapon is the weapon of terror. – Heinrich Himmler
On the morning of October 6th, George W. Bush made a not-for-prime time “major” speech before a select group of supporters. For those unfamiliar with the National Endowment for Democracy, rest assured that it is a highly controversial, tax-supported group that tries to influence elections in foreign countries. What a perfect audience for the President!
The speech was redundant and unremarkable, despite being hyped as significant’ and highly important. There was little new rhetoric and not an iota of comfort for a nation consumed with concern about the morass and turmoil in Iraq. There was, however a concerted effort to capitalize on a strategy that worked so well in the President’s rush to war in 2003: make them afraid.
The speech this morning was carefully constructed to prey upon the innermost fears triggered by the attacks of 9/11. It pulled out every available stop in an effort to use those alarms to gain support for staying the course in Iraq. The speech this morning was designed to once again lure Americans into the insidious and sinister Bushco Terror Trap.
OILING THE SPRINGS
In case you missed it, the tactics started early in the week. George Bush and Dick Cheney both got the word out last Monday: Without provocation, Bush’s senior aides warned that “a quick exit for US troops could sow a deadly harvest of future terror attacks on US soil.” At almost the same time, Cheney cautioned that Iraq could become a staging area for large-scale terrorist attacks on the United States if troops are withdrawn too early. They had tossed the public some food for future thought.
The next opportunity came at Tuesday’s press conference. The President was asked only ONE question about the war, yet he managed to repeat “terror” or “terrorist” SEVEN times during his exchange with reporters. “We also got [sic] to continue to make sure we meet our obligations to prevent further terrorist attacks,” Mr. Bush reminded us. “Iraq is a part of a global war on terror,” he insisted, without challenge or explanation, as usual.
The stage was set, subtly and craftily to try to win back waning support for the war. The main performance would be on Thursday, when the President would give his ‘”significant” speech to the nation. It would be “the latest shot in a volley of addresses on Iraq by top administration figures” ahead of a referendum on Iraq's draft constitution on October 15. With little fanfare, but with calculated measure, the Trap was being put into place. It was oiled and refurbished and ready to go.
And then it was almost speech time, and the nation waited. They could not have known that the Terror Trap was alive and well and about to be elevated to a new level of prominence.
THE EARLY SUCCESS
Before analyzing the Thursday speech, let’s take a look back at the glory days of The Terror Trap. It was first assembled and used immediately after 9/11. The Bush cartel took full advantage of a nation stunned by tragedy to cash in on their fears. References to terror and more terror were inserted into every major speech. Terror alerts and terror threats were etched into the American psyche, and the invasion of Iraq was hyped as the first major battle in the War against Terror.
The Trap worked brilliantly, at least for a time. And then, as the lies that led to war began to lose their luster, the strategy had to change. The Terror Trap was put aside in favor of a series of other justifications – each different, each deceptive, and each designed to defend the bloodshed and the horror and the chaos in Bush’s failing war of choice. Twenty seven different rationales for Bush’s war were documented in a brilliant thesis by Devon Largio in 2004*, and each, in turn, was accepted as reasonable by most of the nation.
It is important to note that Largio’s study concluded that, ”one…rationale …became very important to official sources and the media: the imminent threat that Iraq posed, though the words “imminent threat” did not appear in official statements of the administration [it] became the catch-phrase in the media and the public.“
Not surprisingly, fear of another strike on American soil lured millions of Americans into the Terror Trap. Convinced that Saddam Hussein was a serious menace, they gave a trembling nod to the invasion of Iraq. Every high level spokesperson in the Bush administration had warned Americans that annihilation by mushroom cloud or biological warfare or some other WMD was only moments away. Aided and abetted by the corporate media, the administration used fear of terrorism as an effective strategy to garner support for the illegal and immoral war it had planned long before 9/11.
In their rush to war in Iraq, the Bush/PNAC war planners learned one thing for certain: fear, however illogical, is a formidable persuader. The Terror Trap worked like a charm the first time around. This morning it was taken out of mothballs and set again.
To find out how they SWITCHED THE BAIT :

Oscar tries to peddle this crap like a greasy used-car salesman selling cars from New Orleans. My 10 year old son has better sense. Anyone of logical mind, conservative or liberal, can plainly see right from wrong given all the evidence laid before them. It's those trying to protect ill-gotten assets that promote & support the neo-con ideologies. And those are the people that should be ostricized, prosecuted, & convicted. Didn't Thomas Jefferson once say that to keep the government pure, that the government should be overthrown every 50 years? We're WAY overdue here. The American people should FEAR BUSHCO and end his dangerous fiasco. The question is WHEN! ~Inkslinger

Good utilization of positioning the typical methodology to co-opt the President. Except it is method and a lie not unlike what I posted below in regards to the illness libs have to telling good lies. The President is trying to solve a complex problem within every issue and the left just keeps posting their preoccupation with themselves and their selfish agenda to defray their own guilt. This guilt is participating in criminal activity such as drugs, porn, and many other unlawful activities that they seek to make legal.
I am sure your 10 year old's mentality is full of your own teachings. Of course, I have been involved with this for eons and once even thought as you do, then sold the liberal line as a hack in the media until I woke up one day living your lie. So, enjoy your Soros-like image and keep playing your pipes.
I took your bait because someone has to.
Sorry, I really believe everyone has a right to their opinion...yours is just fine. It is just not mine. Anon.

I do respect those who have served in the US military with the intent to defend our nation. However, with the exception of World War II, wars waged by the United States have not been defensive in nature. Too often, our imperialist government has used US soldiers as pawns in wars of aggression waged under the guise of "protecting" or "spreading" democracy. To maintain the obscene profits of entities like Halliburton and the Carlyle Group, our government has sold many Americans on the notion that wild hordes of barbarians stand ready to storm the "castle gates" of our nation to rape our women and plunder our wealth. Even if that were the case (and it is not), the United States could mount a viable defense on much less than $500 billion per year.

I don't want to hurt your feelings. So I took it down. It was good too.
By the by, you could stand to have a little consideration for others also. This running along stuff is a little cheap. I could run circles around you...and make you feel real liberal...but no. I will do as Greg asked.

Your poor-me-ism and lack of patriotism is typical of those who do not see the total picture. I know your kind and feel sorry for you. I also have children and do not wish to lose them...but we did not start killing the innocents on 9/11. I saw it and I will never let it go. Your attitude will always side on the weak and the weak will never win against those who take innocent lives for their cause. If it ever hits home with you...you will change also.

The trouble with some Americans is that they see the WTC hits as something that should never have happened to the US.
Well if you look at the history of the US and its interference in many countries and their politics and Vietnam for instance, all I can say is that I am surprised it did not happen sooner.
There is a video going around the net at present showing the interviewing of Americans in the street and asking them which country do they think America should invade next.
And without even knowing where these countries are, or even what is going on there, each person interviewed said they should hit Iran, or North Korea,or some country where they can change the politics to the way they want them.
None of these people were able to find North Korea on a map, or Iran or even any Middle Eastern country.
When shown a map of Australia and told it was North Korea a number of people reacted saying they had no idea it was so big and should be bombed immediately.
So that gives us some idea of what the average American knows about other countries in the world.
I also saw an interview with some enlisted men who asked to go to Iraq to kill the people who were responsible for the planes that flew into the WTC.
The uneducated masses, fed on bullshit by the government and kept in the dark.
How many Americans know the true story of Vietnam?
How many Americans know the true story of America's interference in so many other countries that just about the whole world hates them.
The WTC situation was a dreadful act,BUT, compared with what America has done to the rest of the world for the last 60 or more years, it was peanuts.
You Americans who are on this site screaming the praises of that lunatic Bush and his cohorts should get a history book, preferably not one written by an American and find out what your country has been doing all this time.
When a young enlisted man on his way to a horrible realisation in Iraq said to the interviewer that Americans see themselves as sort of a big brother to other countries I nearly puked.
And he was BLACK!
The bigger the lie the more people are inclined to believe it.Americans you have been lied to, and lied to, and lied to.
And the lies will continue until you do something about it.
Why does the world hate you so?
Is it because I say it does?
No, it is for what you have done and been doing and will go on and on doing until someone stops you.
Disclaimer:
I DO NOT hate Americans.
I DO NOT hate America.
I am saying what I think and feel about what I have seen happen in that country and I am not alone.
shadows
Now Oscar, go and order some books on 20th century history from Amazon and read them and stop posturing and posing and whipping yourself into a frenzy by saying you will never forget 911.
You will forget it easily when you realise what your country has done to so many other countries.
The killings, the bombings, the murder of government officials, the wanton destruction of dams and constructions on which the people depended for their lives........
But you won't, because you have an excuse...they actually came onto American soil and killed Americans.
Well your own Americans did that to each other too.
Somewhere along the line I have a feeling that you are in for a terrible shock.
Naivity like yours is not amusing, it is deliberate and sickening.

I don't agree with it, but you have a right to tell what you feel is the truth of America. I live here and do not see what you are talking about and I did not fall off a potato truck yesterday, but I am not the brightest star in the sky either.
Most of my former students go to college and they do know their Geography and Computer Graphics. As a former educator, I agree, we have much to do in this country. I feel that if folks believe as you do, other nations have a lot to do in education also.
I would refute you on all points, but I don't really care how you feel...it will never change due to your case of BP. I know you must take drugs since I have heard such here, so I think that speaks for itself. I do not, but I do have a bad case of thinking I am always right. I need to work on that. I know I love my country, and the president is a good man. If I am wrong, at least I am happy.
I don't think you are happy unless you are picking on other people who are not like you. I do know whereof you think, having been one of you in the past.
I am sure I read more than you.

What the hell does your students computer graphics skills have to do with the price of oil in Iraq? More than likely, if your students are graphic oriented, they don't share your views Oscar. I as well am in the marketing/graphics industry and find that we are a different breed than your ilk.
Oscar, look what America did in Cuba (BAy of Pigs). The same thing we did to our CIA employed Osama Bin Laden in the mountains of Afhganistan. Left em to die. What happened to the WMD's that the US gave Iraq to fight Iran. Sadamm got rid of them.
Why is Osama Bin Laden still on the run? Because Bushco needs t keep that fear instilled in the sheep of America. I understand you're upset because over 60% of America is awake and knows whats really happening. I'm sorry that cut's into whatever profit margins your losing in Haliburton or other Bushco investments you have.
You claim to be scholarly and educated. What a damned waste of an education Oscar. It goes to show ya books and college degrees can't buy ya any common sense....and I guess it's true ya can't teach old dogs new tricks. But over all oscar, I think we all find you amusing (more like hilariously ignorant)... and by the way, if this were an open court case, your point would have beeen long dismissed. Everyone here has stated facts pointing to the blatents flaws of your Bushco administartion. Were are yours? I'm about the people Oscar, not the build-up of government as you are. Your views and agendas have brought down countries and civilizations for thousands of years. Yes, please do review your history texts Oscar. Tsk, Tsk...Poor, poor Oscar..~Inkslinger

Life is a learning experience...please take this as hope for you.
You keep your arguments as abstract and fallacious as possible. Which sends the message that your "accepted" theory overrides any actual evidence that might challenge your Liberal views. You reinforce the popular Liberal viewpoints as suggested by Soros' People that certain subjects are inherently unscientific. You deliberately confuse the process of politics to suit your political agenda, which is to put down anything good from the Bush Administration to say that your Clinton-like views are supreme. You will even sell out America's Patriotism for your own power structure. You arrange your message to support an idea rather than the facts as in the Liberal Playbook issued by Soros and Clinton.
You arrange to have your messages reinforced by like minds here to add credence to informal fallacy. You avoid examining the real evidence of why we are at war with terrorism to allow you to state lies with impunity and position me as ridiculous. Even though what President Bush is doing is the only thing we could do in the face of the facts and events, you state that there is nothing new in how America is responding. We are just Cowboys. Yet, Iran will soon be voting on a constitution that will pin-point an island of hope in the well of terrorism. If it works, you may be vacationing there someday as we do in Germany.
You misrepresent actual historical facts to support your dogma and call for proof from others who know you to be a liar. You say you are about people even though the long run of history has supported our fight against terrorism as fostered by the last two world wars. People suffer in war, but if war did not free folks via the flux created by war, then we would all be under German rule.
If you are a people person it is only for your own ego at the present because you apparently do not care for humanity in the long run. You utilize smoke and mirrors to support your liberal view as is usual for media oriented personnel who have been supported by complex ignorance which is Manly P. Hall's ignorance of ignorance statement. Your primary methodology is to attack Soros-like with Argumentum ad hominem or against the man...me. You seek to "poison the well" of my works saying you are better than I and implying that I am a poor, poor being not worthy of belief or respect.
You put down my association with the Conservative branch by using argumentum ad baculum seeking to club my will with your superior knowledge and emotional slant to human affairs. You try to reinforce this with argument from authority associating yourself with the other liberals of your crew. Additionally you seek informal strength via argumentum ad verecundiam to show how you love humanity over others because you have fought tirelessly for us all your life. You presume to be right in every example you put forth, which is argumentum ad ignorantiam.
I have been Liberal like you once...and finally woke up. I fear you have the disease of pathological reinforcement that narcissistic liberals have to think they/you are superior to all and we lowly one’s are in need of your help. This newly defined disease or condition is also called Bi polar or manic-depressive. You are the sick one here. You tend to switch back and forth in your judgment of issues according to fashionable trends that support your ego and circle of friends who would always have men to do their dirty work anyway. You are imbued with the old and new pop-culture and see no wrongs in your thoroughly modern viewpoint. You are indeed a typical liberal woman. Thank God there are Conservative women and are growing daily in numbers. They get it.
To attack me with such zeal as you and others have done, and to attack a president who I personally know to be very good but is in a very hard position at present, this just takes the cake...and you may eat it.

Support your death machine Oscar, you have that right. The majority of the planet sees. Gas prices, inflation, taxes for illegal wars, yea, I'm supporting your death machine as well being a taxpayer, but not lying down. I see you never point out ANY good points or FACTS relating to what GOOD Bushco is doing for America. Try entertaining everyone here with the facts Oscar, and not gloating about like some WW2 Nazi propaganda poster. Yes Oscar, people are naive and vulnerable, but eventually, like a puppy and a roll of newspaper, they eventually get it. Half of your administartion is corrupt and under investigation, most should have been incarcarated long ago. How many whacks of the newspaper until you finally get it Oscar? ~Inkslinger

What Death Machine — just because we can kill rather than be killed? Clinton was preoccupied with his girls and lobs a missile at OBL while the twin towers are attacked, navy ship bombed, and embassy destroyed. We have taken this from Terrorists for far too long. We have tried many things in the Middle east where we have much of our oil assets that we took there for those nations to become great in their time. They nationalized the asset and we buy them to power our nation. The Liberals block our drilling in this nation with their environmental issue/s so we need the oil of other nations. Other nations and Terrorists know we need oil to survive here due to our lifestyle over many generations. We stand up to those nations who threaten us. Saddam takes our help against Iran who was once a friend of America under the Shaw. The Shaw dies and the clerics take over. The clerics want power so they enlist support of Muslim rebels like OBL who uses money gained from American People seeking oil for their autos and homes. We pay through the nose for it. The war between Iraq and Iran ends with Iraq winning due to American, French and German help. Saddam wants oil so he seeks it from Kuwait. He invades and we respond. We give him a chance but he thumbs his nose at us. OBL starts his own campaign from Afghanistan and trains terrorists to do harm to innocents all over the world. His Death Machine is not unlike Hamas always killing innocents of the Israelis. Israel fights back with an eye for an eye. Enough is enough! We have an election where Liberals have their typical methodology of the election ploy with recounts to get Gore into office. It backfires and Bush is put in by the Supreme Court decision. Bush takes office and September 11, 2001 comes and takes 3,000 lives in one day…all innocents. We go to take out OBL in Afghanistan. We do not get him but he is out of Afghanistan. His money and the Oil for Food stealth campaign by Saddam and his French, German and Russian friends who are involved, forms a complex web to use Iraq as the focus point for operations. Iraq is the hot spot due to past history and Saddam’s hate for the Bush Family and America. He funds operations all around the world and seeks to keep his power via his connections to UN friends. He is suspected to have WMDs in country or at least the makings and infrastructure with personnel identified to produce weapons that could destroy Israel and other nations. Just having such backup to make such weapons allows Saddam to threaten other nations. He thumbs his nose at America. This time, due to the people of America are fed up with dictators and their terrorist connections, America attacks. It is Kill or be killed time. If left unchecked, the Terrorists would have assets positioned in Iraq as a massive center for distribution all around the world. Saddam was positioning himself as the kingpin for such an operation. If his plan had grown the whole of the United States would have been threatened to a much larger degree than it already is. We stood and delivered. Saddam is caught and we are nation building as we did in Germany once again. If we do not succeed we will see the world blow up due to the designs of Terrorists who also have connections to the Drug Mongers who sell the stuff to our children and get them hooked. Money use to grow this stuff often comes from the Terrorists and Islamic groups. They seek to destroy us from within.
The Oil for Food crime is still on-going. No one knows how deep it goes or how much France, Germany and Russia were the cause of us going in and if they are still the friends of American that they once were. They were seditious in our regards.
Now, internally the Democrats and Liberals of this nation along with their emplacements in the media are initiating an attack on Bush with charges against Rove and Delay and whomever else they can indict via a controlled grand jury. Earl in Texas is a known Democrat whose daughter was involved with Dan Rather in the attempt to steal the election by positioning Bush as a draft dodger against Kerry. It did not work. Earl is still attempting to do harm on Republicans with his latest attack on Delay. It is the method of Democrats who are mostly made up of lawyers, to attack at every instant. You say half...More than half of Liberals and Dems are the ones who we should be going after since they are cheating and dealing from the bottom of the deck.
As a former Liberal, Democrat and media emplacement I know what is going on and it is not your take…You are the victim here or you are the enabler of such lie mongering. If anyone needs a whack, it is you and your liberal friends who have not a clue due to the fact that you have a mental disorder that allows you to be a pathological liar of all things dear to your manic depressive heart/s and still think you are telling the truth. God help you.
Take your ink and sling it elsewhere if you cannot see the forest for the trees.

Hum Oscar, you seemed to have been caught with your emotions a little here. Iran is to vote on a new constitution? Just kidding.
Still, when you refer to ‘informal fallacies’, I will not teach you anything by saying that the only shield about such thing is to be informed and to be in position of assessing or validate the exactitude of the information. Useful information must remain free from ideological interpretation.
I must unfortunately say that any points made that are solely done on the basis of proving an ideology over another one is in itself fallacious because it requires the person to already be indoctrinated by all the major pillars of such ideology, which all require blind fate for support else they collapsed on their own construct. Because of course all ideologies are constructs, including political ideologies of all sorts.
Once one belongs to an ideology, he automatically becomes a vector of such. He becomes a reflex, a knee jerk implement of a thought system. Patriotism is one such knee jerk reaction enacted by the people that are psychologically absorbed by the cause they feel is greater than they.
It would seem that it is impossible for an ego to be freed from this anima until it is time and until that time, he will remain the mouthpiece of an agenda greater than him, the ideology, which in reality is the program of where this civilization is heading, bringing in its groove the thoughtless mass towards the chasm of ideological extinction that will be necessary to elevate man above its animalistic condition of psychological survival mainly based on insecurity.
Ideologies can only clash and confront each other and can never allow any kind of objectiveness among their followers as ideologies already bear the dictate of their own purpose.
Ideologies can only be objectively discussed when looked at from above, never from within. I know this may sound absurd at first since we tend to consider that to know must include a measure of direct experience. As a matter of fact though, it is not so since the spirit of man has already participated in the creation of those structures for the benefit of the experience of the soul while incarnate. Must God be Republican or Democrat to know what it means to be either?
Ideologies when they clash are the factor that eventually leads their adherents to war. As they are part of their respective thought school, the individuals who therefore have forfeited their real individuality for the benefit of the protection of a mentation system that they would have being right at all cost, it ends up being through blind faith that the crusaders of the ideological system will do all to have their system prevail. War is the result of insecurity being lived at the level of nations and spurred, amplified with ideological excitation.
Some have seen this long ago; they are the astral initiates, knowingly or not. An astral initiate is a black initiate. To these are given the means of manipulating information in such a way that the people unaware of these thought structures will automatically and uncritically fall for the argumentation that will favor the ideology for which they belong. They create ideologies and their toolbox of argumentation and rhetoric so that their followers, those who will adhere to the ideology, have something to parrot while they wave their flag.
Nations are supported within by sets of ideologies that can and will be conflicting in appearance but that always share a base. That base will be in a common belief of the superiority of the cultural roots. Such root in North America can be associated to Judeo-Christianity and the moral code that stemmed from it, even though that moral code may have been adopted by the population in general as if it was innate, the result of a higher civilized society, an appealing proposition for the powerless ego. This is in total ignorance of the roots of their value system, which is in no way innate but totally acquired and that serves as the cement of their own civilization.
Cement is not very flexible and cracks in time. The spirit is absolutely flexible and does not crack in time, the time it creates. For that reason, the spirit can never get caught in ideological processes because spirit is pre-personal, beyond and before the form, form that required space to be contained.
In the end though, Nations are more held together by the fear of the potential collapse of a perceived control over their environment and even neighbors on the occasion. We fight not for the good of all but for the prevalence of our perceived advantages bore by the form of the system that has been used as a temporary support for our empty psychic carcasses that suffer from much narcicism.
Nations are psycho-reactive creatures much like the ego, because a nation and its society is made of a myriad of egos and would have no soul had the individuals not forfeited their identity for that of the nation. In that sense, they are creatures that seek to survive and the law is, like for the individual who survives rather than lives, the law of the jungle, the survival of the fittest.
Like in nature, animals have their kings, like in animal groups, there is the Alpha male, nations fight to acquire and keep resources, denying such to lesser specimens. We have animal nations because as individuals we have not yet divorced from out animal karmic link. We think with our flesh, not with our higher energies. Gosh, we talk about these higher energies yet we are clueless of what they are and would have them bend to our ideological agendas. We would create God to our image and not elevate our reality to his.
This is all a long way I took to simply say that manipulation of historical facts by ways of bias and interpretative values based on ideological slant is not a case of left or right but rather reflects the agenda, whether left or right. The forces that be know that, they know that the population, even the educated, will fall for that trap and will expend great deals of energies to have their ideological agenda prevail. When we fight for an ideology, we do not fight our fight but we fight theirs against ourselves. The spirit is neither left nor right as it is beyond and before polarization. It is not a personal value but a pre-personal reality.
This said, I would point out that your own reaction to what you perceive as a ‘leftist’ ideological attack on what you consider sacred, your own ideology, led you to use several informal fallacies of your own brew.
One needs only know a little of the history of the Middle-East to be impervious to historical fallacies. For instance, the multiple direct acts of imperialistic decrees that redesigned the Mid-Eastern area, putting together disparate people into territories led by figureheads that were undertaken by the British and the US are quite well documented.
The modern history of Iraq for instance did not begin with Saddam and the war against Iran. Likewise Iranian history did not begin with the Shah who was put into place after a coup for which unfortunately some CIA agent bragged about how much they had directed the results. He was of course overstating, perhaps hoping to gain better favors for his organization but in the end, everybody fell for it and believed that the US had totally orchestrated the coup against the clerical, even though a large part of the population had been discontent. This lead to much anti-Americanism through much of that region. Only one unwary of historical facts could then consider that anti-American feelings in the Middle-East had to do with domestic US affairs and would clearly see how foreign policy, especially mishandled foreign policies, can and will backlash.
I will stop at that, too many points would need correction and demagnetization from ideological interpretative values that become what you refer to as fallacies and you will obviously not agree or even consider the material, making the exercise a waste of time and energy.
Still, there is an article that may be of interest, if not to you in particular, to others perhaps. It sums up certain aspects of psychology that I have been hinting at in several posts. They are of course much better laid out that I could ever do, English not being my primary language:

I agree with you on one issue, yes, if this country needs oil, we should drill it here, but this country doesn't need oil, no country should Oscar, we've had the technology since Tesla to totally be independent of oil. Problem is, the Oil circle (our govt. included) would never let that happen. Secondly, Sadamn was never a threat, that's been proven. OBL is a scary monster created by the CIA and right winged corporate warmongers. Oscar, with your govt. connections and history expertise, tell us why there are terrorists, let's hear what our CIA operatives (the other white terrorists) do behind the scenes on the "Offensive". The war Bush created was a move for a facist state. Look at the parralells with the 3rd reich. If you think you have more "freedom" now as compared to 10 years ago, look again O' blind one....
BTW, that link about mindless America is a dead link, does that talk about the 4-while driving hunters and religeous zealots that "elected" Bush?
