Happy Father's Day
Posted by plw12752anderson at 11:55, 17 Jun 2007I miss my father very much, he was a really good man. Not many like him around any more. So, Happy Father's Day dear Daddy wherever you are on the other side, I think of you and Mama every single day.
Thank you for everything, every lesson, every wonderful moment that I could never ever even begin to pay you back for.

I dearly loved my Dad too - he was a kind, peace-loving, gentle person who always looked for the best in people. We had some wonderful times together.
You don't have to worry that you can never pay your Dad back - he wouldn't expect you to. Just being your father, enjoying your company and seeing you were happy would have been all the thanks he wanted.
It isn't Fathers' Day here, but I'll wish mine a happy day too, wherever he is now.
Love, Kathrinn

Father's Day here is a low key affair. Mainly picnics and cook outs, just a reason to get the kids all around to give Dad credit where credit is due.
Now, everyone works, even on weekends and then all the other children live so far away they could not come back for the one day. So, here it was really quiet. Rather nice despite missing the kids.
Thanks for the reply Kathrinn, my father was truly a nice fellow like yours. You are right, he just was satisfied with seeing us happy and healthy. Love, Pam -----------------------------Truth is stranger than fiction.
