The Corpse Roads - Ley Lines

She had sent photos of her journey there and was excited to meet up with all of us at Lake Guntersville for a family reunion near Boaz, Alabama. We sat in one of the restaurants chatting about her trip and I quizzed her on seeing the ley lines, and asked her did she walk down them and I had so many questions I was anxious to have answered. My sister interrupted the conversation with a sharp reprimand to me and asked me to just shut up about such stupid foolishness.
Well, contrary to my sister's beliefs, they are very real and have been around for a long time. In a recent article posted on ForteanTimes the history and archeology is discussed. Please, check out this informative article and many thanks to Paul Devereux.

This subject has always fascinated me. I know when I was watching Most Haunted that there was one place. The Ram's Inn, that was on ley lines, and had an underwater river beneath it. Needless to say things were hopping in that place. It had been a special site from pagan times onward.

Hello, I just read Marissa's poem and wrote I had not been to Ireland, then I read this, gives me the willies as I was thinking about the leylines and the stones. I have spent much time studying the stones and ley lines in England, and the tracks of Nasca ....photographed and surveyed many of them.......lectured about the continuity of the cross cultures.
John Michell has written many great books on the subject of megalithic sites and ley lines. Paul would be at conferences in England were we sould speak. Paul is a very nice man. Rupert Sheldrake would hang out in Glastonbury with us and John Michell and I have always wondered about his theory, about the Morphgenic field and I beleive it to be some what correct. Mabye scientists can not prove it, but, that does not mean it is not real, as in leylines, however electro magnetic fields can be measured now and there are magnetometers(spelling??)not as in the old days, it was dowsing rods and divining rods.....there is alot to Earth's grid and Tesla knew about it, and he also made the first telephone lines county to county by use of the Earth's magnetic field. However, corporations such as Ma Bell would not be able to make money that way, so, of course that whole bit collasped.
I was not able to get onto the site for the article to read. Maybe soemthing with my browser. OH, what does it mean when a link is red on the google search and your computer does not go anywhere on a link? I know off topic -- but that is the same as the unknown zone when I go to sites and can not get on them. I would like to read that article.......

Dear Colette, I too have computer problems but I'm not sure what the red means. Here is the link for the main page for ForteanTimes. It takes awhile to load for me because I have a dial up connection and it's very slow. An interactive screen with the topics will show the articles or you could go to the search box and type in Ley lines and attempt to get it that way.

Dear Marissa, That is fascinating about the Inn. I have heard of houses and barns, commercial business and such being built atop underground water sources which caused problems later on. There is much that we yet don't know, especially about the energy of these places.
Water finds it's way and seeks it's level. I think it's a wonderful source of energy, like waves being harnessed for electricity. Rain showers can erode whole mountains and when frozen into the cracks and crevices it can break open the hardest of rocks following the fissures in it.
Ley lines have energy in them and it's a naturally occuring phenomenon. It's a fascinating subject.

The one I am referring to is the first one.. tho I think the one in Atlanta is one I'd rather sleep and eat at lol
It is disappointing on the orb photo attempts... I got more real orbs at John Muir's house in Martinez California than that person did at the 'most haunted place'. I do have pictures of them up in various places.. including fotolog, my space and New Civilization Network..

Marissa, I'm sorry about that link to Atlanta. I was trying to edit that post by inserting the links from my history. I apologize for inadvertantly putting in the wrong one. When making links in a post, working for a long time on it and submitting it, only to have it just disappear was very frustrating and I was backtracking trying to redo what I had originally done. I got so flustered I just quit as my log on speed was a not so zippy 28Kbps and wasn't exactly loading pages quickly enough.
My daughter loves to take photograghs for her hobby and is talented at it. She has caught glowing orbs and very odd reflections of them zipping across the photo, we had chalked it up to bugs or lint hovering in the air, dust particles, rain drops or such. But, those were not always the conditions. So, she keeps them as odd anomolies. Her favorite is one of her sitting in a corner by a window and the orbs are by her head and feet, inside of them are rays of rainbow sparks.

In the Winchester House.. I took a pic with a gold orb in it. I figure it is an energy ball of some kind, a bit unlike the bright white orbs I have taken. There was no inside hanging light.. no reflections from a window.. as it was an inside leaded glass door. I have asked all around and no one has seen the like of it. The ones your daughter took must have been too cool. I have on my blog the dust orbs.. for comparison..they are not the same at all.

Hi Pam.....there is this guy in western australia who would be the best deviner I have ever seen, he can devine streams, rivers underground and ley lines. He gives a warning on building and living over underground streams. The buildings tend to twist and bend more and people who live in them have a tendency to getting cancer and other illnesses more frequent.
Its to do with the magnetic fields produced by running water. As everything is magnetic, all is effected by magnetic fields.
Even trees show hanging, twisted limbs when growing over streams.

Hello,
I tired various ways you mentioned, I was able to get to Crystal link, and some of their links, but, never got to any Fortean or links there of.
I don't know, maybe security issues, of my browser. Heck...I saw the pic on Crystal with the ghostly looking figures..so, that is of interest to me for sure.
I was thinking of going to my libray and listing those books for people if they are interested. They are good ones.

So sorry to hear that Colette, already today the pc is wonky for me as well as this site and others, so I'm just hanging in there trying to get the links posted!
As you can see above I tried to post a reply for the Ram's Inn and it showed that it had timed out and Bart shell no response. (LOL - who the hell is Bart Shell and why won't he respond!!!) I'm being facitious now.

Dear floppy, It's familiar, I can't remember when I saw it but I do remember the story about Shelley Yates and her son nearly drowning and her near death experience. Thanks for the link and also for your other posts.
